It is one of my favorite movies of all time! It's the very first movie I saw in a movie theater (I was 4) and I've loved it ever since.

I like the movie, but not the books so much. They were kind of dark imo, and Mary doesn't come off very nice in them, from what I recall.

I think that it's a terrific, uplifting movie. One of the best films out of the Disney Studios. When I was a child, however, Mary Poppins bored me.

I agree that meeting THE Mary Poppins is nervewracking. I mean, she even acts "practically perfect" in the parks!

I really have to buy it, since it doesn't come on TV nearly enough. It's one of those movies that I'd like to pop in when I'm feeling low - the music alone cheers me up everytime.

Love it! I was about 5 when it came out in the theaters and remember seeing it. My mom had the Disney album and we played it before school every day. I also remember having a Mary Poppins doll and she had beautiful outfits. My favorite was the ****e one she wears when she rides the carasoul (sp) and takes off on the horse and rides in the countryside.

I love it and love the songs and couldn't imagine growing up without it especially when trying to take medicine. So many times I begged mom for a spoonful of sugar to help the medicine go down.

This was also my first movie in a theatre when I was only 3. I watched it from start to finish with my parents and then I insisted that I wanted to stay and watch it again. My parents thought I would never sit through the whole thing twice so they humored me and stayed. I watched the whole thing again and so did they!
