I like my tooth brush soft,,sensitive gums!!! But we have one of those Braun spinning ones and they are NOT soft---remember to change them EVERY 6 months!!!! Yes... I was a dental assitant ... I know my tooth brush change time LOL..Thanks for the chuckle!!!
I used to use hard toothbrushes and brush really hard. I ended up causing an abrasion on one of my bottom teeth. I wore the enamal right off! It's been there for at least 4 years and the dentist hasn't said anything about doing anything about it, but sometimes when I brush, OWIE! I remember where it is!
It's all in the technique. Use a soft brush, turn on one of your favorite songs and brush for as long as the song, then floss. Your teeth will be just as shiny and sparkling as if you used a hard brush and brushed hard.
I'm back in school, so I'm getting back into the habit of lecturing.
Soft...that's what the dentist says and that's what the dental assistant gives me when I leave after my cleaning every 6 months (not my favorite thing to do)
