Do you like fish tacos?

Have you ever tried them..I acquired a taste for them while living in San Diego..I make them a lot..With a nice white fish (mahi mahi, tilapia etc) it tastes very close to a chicken taco

I know I won't try them... I don't do fish But the idea sounds fine to me in general (for those who do eat fish). I personally love chicken tacos best.

I get a white fish and season it with marinade it for 2 hours or so with lime, adobo seasoning, garlic, salt and pepper... I cook in a really hot pan so that it gets a nice brown color too it and serve it on corn tortillas with either home made pico de gallo, home made mango salsa or good jarred salsa, and with home made guacamole.
You can add sour cream / cheese etc also.

Make sure you look for a decent white fish.. My favs are mahi mahi and tilapia.. Cod, Orange Roughy etc, will work too

They are on the menu tonight! I have some talapia filets. What I will do is put some blue corn tortillas in a bag and crush them pretty fine. To that I will add taco seasoning mix. Then I add the fish filets and shake them--like shake and bake. Then, I bake the filets 15-20 mins at 350. I serve them with both hard and soft taco shells along with salsa, sour cream and guacamole. We usually have a side of rice and some black beans as well.

Love them! I think Rubios has the BEST ever fish tacos! I have a recipe for their white sauce that is so yummy, and I make them at home with grilled fish. Sounds so good....
