Yes I like buffets and thank you for asking.
Oh that's just not right. Kinda reminds me of the little girl I saw at Target a couple weeks ago who thought it was a good idea to lick her fingers and then put them on the Icee machine...
Apparently basic common sense was not being served that night on the buffet.
This is exactly what I saw adults do the last time we ate at a buffet. I saw multiple people load food on their plates, grab a piece of food, start eating it, lick their fingers, and then go to another part of the buffet to continue loading their plate. Unbelievably gross not to mention the fact that they were so starved that they couldn't wait to start eating that they felt compelled to start eating right then and there??Apparently basic common sense was not being served that night on the buffet.

We have a couple of restaurants in nearby towns that have Disney quality buffets. I do try to avoid cheap or chain buffets (like Ponderosa or Golden Corral) for the reasons people have mentioned. I just haven't seen that kind of gross behavior at the nicer ones near us. Thankfully! I love buffets, but where I live I look up their health violations online. It really depends on what their record looks like.
I was surprised to see that my favorite Chinese buffet place down the road had 3 critical violations within the past month, like the health inspector witnessed a worker tasting the food from a serving spoon.![]()
. I'd rather sit and have the food brought to me. The only buffet where I've actually enjoyed the food was at Boma.Nope. I can't get past the unsanitary practices of others.![]()
I was at the grocery yesterday and they have a salad bar and hot food area. This woman was letting her kids run their hands over everything and stick their head under the sneeze guard to look at the food. It was gross.
