Do you leave your stuff unattended?

What do you do with your stuff at the water parks? We all want to go different directions but, I like having a home base with water, snacks, whatever...

Does someone always need to stay behind?

We ususally leave the stuff. Trying to limit the amount of valuables. Only bring room keys that we charge on (if they are lost they can be canceled with a quick phone call, just make sure you know which number is gone). if we bring a camera, it is one of the cheap ones.

We always leave out stuff. Funny, I've never really thought about this until I read your post. We are very trusting at parks I guess. Look around and you will see everyone else doing the same.

We left our stuff under our stroller while we went on the rides. Before we left, I bought a REALLY ugly backpack and wrote my first name on it in BIG red letters. I figured if anybody was going to stealthly walk up to my parked stroller and just grab a bag this one would discourage them because it was so "original" that it could easily be spotted.

Having said that - we had no problems with anyone hassling our stroller or bags, and wouldn't hesiate to leave NON valuables in a stroller personally.

I had a pair of sandals stolen when I left my stuff at one of the waterparks!
SANDALS! Who would want to wear someone else's sandals. Needless to say...it was quite a walk to the car on the hot pavement with no shoes!
I'll chalk it up to mistaken identity, because I never had anything touched before.

I guess we're trusting too because we always leave our stuff behind while we go play. Although I cant tell you how many times I've thought "I wouldnt be surprised to come back and it all be gone" LOL

We always hire a locker and I wear one of those small watertight boxes sometimes, too with our valuables.

My parents met some folks who had everything stolen from one of the water parks - cash, room keys, watches, etc. :sad2:

Well you could set your stuff on a table or chair,

you could leave snacks in the room,
but once, the mousekeepers stole ALL of or snacks

I'd say locker

I have a few of those waterproof hard boxes that I wear around my neck for keys etc
Leave the clothes/etc on the chair

We never bring much to the water parks, just room key/tickets which I keep in a waterproof container around my neck. Have left towels, clothes, sandals and snacks without any problems in the past, but I never take anything to the water parks that I would miss, just in case this is the year something gets stolen. If I had a lot of stuff I cared about, I'd probably use a locker.

We always leave our stuff (cameras, money, passes, etc.) in our pool bags. We've never had anything taken.

I wouldn't, but that's just me. I would rather lock my stuff up.

Your kidding, right? If not, where were you staying, and did you report it to the front desk? I have never heard of mousekeeping taking food from someones room. When we stay @ a DVC resort, we usually ask mousekeeping if they would like anything (that hasn't been opened) as we are checking out and will just throw it away. I've never heard a "no" and they've always been happy to have it (especially the popsicles on a hot day!) :mickeybar

I don't leave my things behind unless I don't mind losing them. I am not trusting.
I even looked to see how many post you had and it crossed my mind if your were asking for..mmmm how do I say this...less than stellar reasons. So no I don't leave anything I don't mind someone else taking. ;)
