This reminds of something I did over 23 years ago - I was working at a truckstop - midnight shift - on Christmas Eve night/Christmas morning. The place was pretty much deserted except for a handful of employees, some poor Professional Truck Drivers who couldn't get loads home, and travelers stopping in for gas and a cup of coffee.......

All night long I got on the PA System and "report" the sighting of Santa and his sleigh.....

"this news bulletin just in... Santa and his reindeer have been sighted flying over Amsterdam" and so on and so on.......

Goofy? Yes - but it made even the weariest and homesick person at that truckstop smile.
