Mmmm..read what I wrote and figured I better explain myself as my post seemed a little mean, and that was not my intention.

I just would be frustrated to have such a big event and then my kid is hiding . and trust me I have been in those shoes and my son hiding, when he was meeting/doing something cool.
trust me, wouldnt shoot the kid and as a mom, I would watch that and my heart would melt seeing my baby even them acting a bit...shy

Those were so sweet.
A lot of little kids are pretty shy around the characters - even the princesses. Glad she got her hug though and I'm pretty sure she's watched the videos over and over, even if her eyes were covered.
