I saw a children's book once, well there were actually several different ones, that I thought was very inventive. First you read the story, then there were pictures (like ones from the story, and the child was to "write" the story (or their version) from the pics. Then there were sentences and the child draws what they "see" from the sentence. Does anyone know any of the titles or what company there are by?(I think one was about a pig... I saw them near some DK books, but I am pretty sure that is not the publisher. I thought this would be a great summer activity for DS....

"Read it. Write it. draw it" - "The Neat Pig" - written by Nora Gaydos. Sound familiar ? My son has this one - and I managed to put my hands on it - there's even a web site - www.innovativekids.com :) Do a search for "read it write it draw it" on amazon.com, and they all come up :)

that is awesome !! ;):thumbsup2
Thanks so much !! :yay:

These books seemed so cute, and look like a great/fun way to work on reading/language skills !!
