I work in the food service industry (ice cream) and am always constantly washing hands. On top of that I have pretty dry skin.

Can anyone recommend a good, non-greasy if possible, lotion I could purchase?

Thanks :)

I love Lubriderm products.

During the winter when my skin needs extra help, I get the lotion for extra dry skin. In the summer, I just use the version for normal skin.

I like both of the above, but their products with Shea or Cocoa Butter! :)

I use aveeno and like it, however I tried the Jergens (natural care or something..forget the exact name), and will switch to that when I finish up my avveno lotion.

Bath and Body Works makes the best lotions! I use their body cream on my hands every day. They have a website you can order from now too - so you don't have to try to find a retail store. :thumbsup2

I am a nurse and I know what you mean. I love Silicone Glove from Avon. It seems to stay on even after washing your hands many times. It is the only thing that works for me.

L'Occitane with Shea Butter and Jurlique Hand Cream are the two best that I've ever tried. I've got wicked dry skin and both are amazing. A bit expensive, but last three times as long, so it all works out in the end.

Neutrogena Hand Cream is the absolute best for hands. It's really thick, and you don't need a lot, but it is not greasy at all! And no scent. Even my DH likes it, and he won't use anything that is too girly or too greasy.

Curel Ultra Healing. It's in a light blue bottle. I use it at home and at work. works wonders with my dry skin.

I've tried many over the counter lotions and creams and they either are greasy, or just wash off the next time you wash your hands, and your skin winds up just as dry. The only one I've found that really sinks in and heals is Arbonne (basics line) Hand Cream. A little pricey, but well worth it. Their body Lotion is awesome, too.

L'Occitane with Shea Butter

::yes:: This is the best stuff ever- I'm absolutely addicted! I keep a tube at work and one at home, and have a tub of their Ultra Rich Body Cream that I use every morning after my shower.

Very cheap and an awesome product-

Suave Skin Therapy Advanced Therapy Lotion. It's "moisturizing relief for serverly dry skin."

I've been using it for a few months now, and absolutely love it!

Cetaphil Moisturizing Lotion....I have dry skin and love this stuff plus it's not greasy at all.

I use Aveeno daily moisturizing lotion - unscented.

It's pretty much the only thing I can use and as it's unscented, you don't have to worry about smell.

I can't even use the Lubriderm unscented because it still breaks me out.

Just wondering if you are able to use the alcohol-based hand cleansers some of the time instead of always using soap and water?? I'm an RN and using the alcohol-based no-rinse, no-dry cleansers really has saved my hands.

I've been looking for a new lotion, too. I prefer ones that are unscented and go on creamy - I call it creamy, as I don't think they are greasy. I hate the ones that actually feel kinda dry when you put them on. I used to like Olay Total Effects Body (unscented). Unfortunately they stopped making it! I even emailed Olay but they don't carry it anymore because they have gone to a new line of body lotions. But, the new ones are all scented. Why is it every time I find a product I love, they stop making it?? :confused3

I like the Aveeno lotion - there is one formula that the main ingredient is 1 percent dimethicone, and that one works wonders on my dry skin. It is unscented so I actually mix it with some of my H2O milk lotion ( I love the smell of it and it works well) to get the best effect.
