Firstly hi everyone I've been around the disboards for a while now but this is my first post in the wedding section.

My story

I have been married for 5 wonderful years (together for 10) and DH and I are starting to plan ahead (we're big planners) to renewing our vows in 2015 in Disney. We would have loved to get married in Disney but at the time this just wasn't an option for us. Now we are DVC members and we go out to Disney every 18months. We have planned ahead with our points so that IN 2015 we will have enough for a Grandvilla at AKV :yay: I should say that as well as 09/09/15 being our 10th wedding anniversary, my DSD will turn 18 in the July and my DD will be 13 in the AUgust so we a have plans for a triple celebration.

On September 9th 2015 we want to renew our vows at the wedding pavillion late in the day, does anyone know the last ceremony time? Then we would like to rent the Grand one for a couple of hours to have a celebration dinner on and watch wishes to finish off our evening. Does anyone know if this would be possible? How many people does the Grand One hold? I know Disney do an Escape wedding package how many guest is this for and what does it include? How early can you book your package? Also we are going out to Disney again in October 2010 do you think it would be worth me visiting the planners then or is that too soon?

Thanks in advance for all your help and tips :flower3:

Currently that would all be possible but things might change by 2015.

The Grand 1 holds 18 people.

Last Ceremony time is 7pm I think.

You can book an Escape package 8 months in advance. An Escape package is for the Bride & Groom and up to 18 guests. It includes flowers for the bride and groom, a cake, one bottle of champagne, a musician, a limo for 4 hours, a photographer for 2 hours, 2 APs, and the venue.

I think 2010 is probably too soon to see them as a lot could change in 5 years. Also Escape brides do not get a face to face planning session only over the phone. All you could do is ask to see inside the Wedding Pavillion.

Go to www.waltdisneyworld.com / click on Discover / and there are 3 cruises, they are:
1) The Grand 1 - Holds up to 14 people
2) Breathless 2 - holds up to 7 people
3) Celebration - holds up to 10 people

In August 2007, I was planning my step daughters Sweet 16 birthday and was given the following information on the Grand 1 - The cost was $500.00 during the fireworks, (about 45 minutes to 1 hour), then there would be an extra charge to pipe in the music for the fireworks, & if I wanted to have them hang a Happy Birthday banner on the side of the yacht, it would be $125.00 dollars.
