I have several friends serving over there now.

Yes. His name was Jesse Mizener and he was killed in January. He was in his early 20's and left behind 3 very small children (including a 2 month old son). I had known him since he was about 7 yrs old. Very devestating for all that knew him, especially of course his family.

No and I'm thankful for that. But it still hurts when a local person is on the news after being killed over there. I also hate when the local news "preys" on the family of the deceased just to get a "good" story. I feel they deserve privacy during those times.
