Do you hold grudges?

I don't at all - unless someone did something absolutely horrible to me (i.e. steal my husband, murder my dog). Anger wastes my time.

I'd like to say I agree with all of this. Unfortunately, I do worry about it. It hurts and it hurts even more if you don't get an apology.

14 years ago I had a roommate that drove me to a store, left me there, and then went home and cleaned out the apartment. Stole EVERYTHING. Money, clothes, furniture... It must've taken him hours to get it all out.

I finally found him online about a month ago. I know where he works, his hours, etc. (He's an on-air DJ.)

Guess what?
I don't care. I thought I would, but I don't.

There was a time when he would be in serious danger. But I think the more gray hair I get, the less wreckless I become. Also, 14 years is a long time.

Yep, I'm a grudger. I can hold a grudge with the best of them. Its not something I'm proud of, its just something thats in me and I can't let it go. Whether a good friend or aquaintence does something to me or a member of my family, like another poster said, I'd "freeze" them out in a heartbeat.

I try not to hold grudges, but I'm not unfailingly forgiving either. If someone shows repeatedly that their behavior towards me or DH isn't going to change, we steer clear of that person.

Not really; I just won't forgive that person and I'll ignore him/her. I write the person off, basically.

I never used to but now I have to cut toxic people out of my life. That means I do not go out of my way anymore for them.
Is that the same as a grudge, I don't know. But geesh you can't keep getting hurt over and over again.
