I know it is early, but I have seen several houses with trees up already. I am thinking of doing mine tomorrow and just wondered how many of you have already done it. If you already have, I assume that means you really love this time of year and all the decorating, so yours must be really beautiful! I remember seeing a post last year that had pics of everyone's tree and would love to see some more. Thanks!

Not quite yet. I start the Christmas decorating the day after Thankgiving.

I have mine up!! I don't have a picture yet though. I put mine up November 1st. All the gifts that I have gotten so far are wrapped and under the tree:thumbsup2

Wow, Gracie...you have got it together! I know it is early, but when you can, come back & post a pic for us! Thanks!

We'll be getting our tree Thanksgiving night (our tradition) so I'll probably be decorating next week. So excited!

JoShan, I bet lots of folks will be doing it then. I'll be watching Friday for a pic of yours!

Last year I finally put the tree up about a week after Thanksgiving. This year? I'm so excited for Christmas I can't stand it. I've been secretly listening to Christmas music in my car :ssst: It's taking all of my will power not to put the tree up yet! I think I'll do it this week though so that when we come back home after Thanksgiving my house will be decorated!

Okay, I guess I'll be the first! This is the Disney Tree I put up in my bedroom. I always put it up first so I can have a bit of a rest before putting the rest of my decorations up.

We will go to the tree farm and cut down a tree next Saturday, but I'm not sure when we'll bring it in the house to put it up and decorate.

due to my trip too disney dec 1st to the 6th it will be after that  wish i could do it today but still have alot to do for the trip .

We usually put ours up the weekend after Thanksgiving. Last year though, I went to bed one night (it was before Thanksgiving) and I woke up the next morning with the tree all set up. LOL Didn't get to decorate until about a week later though.

My DH and son are outside right now putting up the lights on the house, garage and shed.

I can't wait to put ours up. We live in the house that I grew up in and always put the tree in the family room. When DH and I bought the house for some reason I decided to switch it up and we put it in the living room, but now we are refinishing the family room and have decided now that we have DD that we are going to re-start the tradition of having the tree in the family room. New room, new baby, new traditions. exciting! :santa: Getting the carpet installed next week so I can put the tree up then. I will try to remember to post a pic!!! :goodvibes

OMG Tuff Cookie....that is BEAUTIFUL!! I would so love to do a Disney tree! Our favorite time to go to Disney is the week after Thanksgiving and we are not going to get to do it this year. This makes me think of all the beautiful decorations there. You are so lucky to get to wake up to that every morning. It would put me in a "zippedi doda" (sp) mood every day!

Ok guys, keep the pics coming!

We are putting ours up this weekend! We usually wait til the day after Thanksgiving, but we will be on our way to Disney! I want to be able to come home to a fully decorated house.

Target had a great sale on an unlit tree last week, so we snatched one up. Our pre-lit tree bit the dust, so we were on the search for an artificial unlit tree and was able to find an inexpensive one that looked nice. (50% off :cool1:)

I am embarrassed to say that my husband had it up before the children and I returned home from activities.

While I do have decorations out as I had to sort them and toss what was broken or no longer needed or whatever...and while I do like to put stuff up early....last week was TOO early. So our tree is undecorated.

Also my husband put our ornament box in a BAD spot when he flew home to Florida to help with things (packing for the move). I hadn't been in the garage in a bit and had found it tumbled and shattered ornaments all about.:sad1: So while I did the initial inventory back then, I am kind of sad to do the complete look through now. We collect ornaments as gifts and from vacations and from milestones. I can still picture my son's shattered dumbo.

In fact, I do have a picture:

So pulling out the actual ornaments...not feeling it right now.

Nope, not yet. I like to wait until the weekend following Thanksgiving. I plan to get the tree up and the house decorated then, also wrap all the gifts I've bought so far and put those under the tree, and get my Christmas cards ready to go by Dec. 1st. I have a lot of my shopping done, and may go tomorrow or Tuesday to hopefully finish up the bulk of it and then just have stockings yet to fill. Christmas music waits until after Thanksgiving too, except last week I did buy Susan Boyle's new CD so had to give that a listen when I got home.

Not yet, we usually put our tree and decor up the weekend after Thanksgiving so, next weekend. We have a busy weekend planned so I don't know if we will have time to do it then or not. We are putting up 2 trees this year, one in the bay window in the dining room and then our "present" tree (where Santa leaves his presents) in the family room. That tree will be a real tree and we won't go cut that down until DS18 comes home for Christmas break from college in mid-Dec.

We are going to have a blue and white tree in honor of the COLTS!!!!

Last year was red and white, so this time it will be Blue and white:woohoo:

Tuffcookie! Your tree is awesome:love:it!!!

We do the same thing, artificial tree in out front picture window (that one is all Disney) and then we cut down a tree for the family room. That is where Santa leaves the presents.:goodvibes
