Do you have to stay at DLR to Character dine?

My boyfriend and I are going to MTOT on Oct. 24 and I was thinking of adding something more to it. It'll be just a weekend together because he is attending college in Bakersfield, and I'm up at Sonoma State. Anyway, that weekend we celebrate our 8 year anniversery and I was thinking of a character dining. Since we have other things planned that weekend, maybe a Sunday breakfast with Lilo and Stitch..

So, do you have to be staying at one of the DLR's to do a character dining??

Absoutley Not!!! You can dine at any of the character dining places including the ones in the hotels like Storytellers Cafe and Goofy's Kitchen!

No, you can do character dining if you're not staying at the resort. The Lilo and Stitch breakfast is at the PPH, and Goofy's Kitchen is at the DLH. If you want to eat at Ariel's Grotto or Minnie's breakfast at the Plaza Inn, you have to have a ticket to get into the park. The ones at the hotel I go to many times without staying at the hotels, or even going into the parks.

Do you need reservations for the first week of December do you think? Also are there certain seatings or are they like normal buffets when you just come, eat and go when you want?

They were actually still the Cossacks then, lol! I graduated in Dec. 2002. Boy, does that make me feel old.
