Do you have to be a member to check availability?

I have posted a request to rent some points for four nights in January 2007. I am prepared to consider whatever is available for my dates 1-4 January. Ideally I want a studio but will consider a 1 bedroom at any resort. Am I right in thinking that only members can check availability.
A member has contacted me and said he will check for me on Monday. The suspense is killing me lol

Yes you are right Tracy; they want your membership number as soon as you get though to Member Services. What's more, they are not open weekends in any case.

January is the only month I have never been in Florida (but putting that right next year ;) ) but I would think there would still be quite a bit of availability. Good luck :thumbsup2

Thanks Moira.
I'll just have to be patient

Monday would be the earliest you could check anyway as member services are closed over the weekend. :surfweb:

We tried to get a studio for some friends just for one night Mid Jan but had to get a one bed as all the studios had gone. For your dates it is quite possible that all the new years revellers will be checking out on the 1st so you may have a good chance.

jan is a quiet month so you should get your requsts no problem

Was this at all the resorts? - I have some points in holding status (I had to cancel a trip when my friend had an accident) and you can only book 60 days out - I was hoping for end Jan/early Feb studio at OKW.

I had thought like Paul, that there would be no problem :worried:

It was OKW we tried to get the studio as we were staying there. Didn't try any other resorts. Suspect there is always space at SSR!

I've changed my plans slightly and I'm so excited. I've just bought a reservation for the BCV arriving on New Years Eve for 5 nights :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

Congratulations Tracy, that sounds just great :cheer2:

Mikki, thanks for the response. I think I need a plan B

Thanks Moira. Epcot is my favourite park and we always go over to Beaches and Cream. I have often said we must stay at the Beach Club and now it's happening :sunny:
