I have such a busy weekend planned!! :) On Saturday, I have to be up at 6:00 am to start my day! My best friends daughter is getting married Saturday and she has asked me to take photographs of the wedding and reception! When she had her first child she had asked me to photograph the birth and I did (what an amazing experience that was!), so anyway, she loved how the pictures came out and said that it was better than a professional photographer could do!! (what a huge compliment for me!! I absolutely love taking pictures and have invested alot of money in a digital camera, printer, ect to do this)...Of course when she asked me to take pictures of her wedding, I happily agreed, so up at 6, then at 8:00 we are off to the hair dressers, in which I will be photographing everything for her...the hair getting done, the morning brunch, the dress ceremony, ect...I am actually looking forward to it!!

Then on Sunday, I am doing a 10 mile walk with my two sister in laws for the Children's Miracle Network! I can't believe I am actually looking forward to that as well! :)

So, by Sunday night I am sure I will be exhausted, but I will share some pictures with you all, if you don't mind!! ;):)

What are your plans??

My step father retired this week as chief of police in our little town. Saturday is his retirement party.

Most people have their parties at restauants or such, not my dad. He said he would be more comfortable at home. Which means that my mom, my sister and I are doing all the cooking for 200 guests!! My dad isn't off the hook because he has to do all the yard work and set up all the tables. I don't know why anybody would want to work so hard for their own party. But it is his party and he should have what he wants.

I'm so excited for him. He lost a brother and a sister within one month of each other last year. He is a great guy and deserves a great party.

Those are my plans. Hope I stick to my diet!!

Wow that is awesome Beanie...Good luck on the pictures and the walk!!! It is a great cause!!!!

My weekend will consist of waking up early to head to the gym...then driving to (twins)gymnastics, followed by driving to a birthday party(twins)...Then I think we may do the Lizzy McGuire Movie...Sunday, Church followed by my oldest DD' has a community service project to do at the library putting arts and crafts kits together. We are also getting the last of her stuff for her trip to Europe. I have homework to catch up on too....

Man I am tired just thinking about it

It always amazes me how much I have to do to get ready to go on vacation! :teeth:

Well, my town is named Florissant-which means Valley of Flowers. This weekend is the Valley of Flowers Festival. It's every year on the first full weekend in May. There are a variety of activities such as a carnival, flea market, book fair, barbecues, wine and cheese garden, pretty baby contest, Maypole dance, historic house tours, crowning of the "Queen of the Valley of Flowers", parade, etc. etc. etc! The events happen in several locations throughout the city. I've been enjoying this every year since I was a teenager (or before, the memory is fading) and I'll be 49 (GULP!) in July!

Friday night we'll probably go to the carnival if the weather is nice.

Saturday we'll probably go to the flea market/craft show.

Saturday night, we'll take a break from the festivities and go to a play at my son's high school, "Steel Magnolias". Should be good.

Sunday we'll go to the parade and watch my son march with the JROTC from his school.

The parade route goes right in front of the doctor's office where I work. We take our lawn chairs up early in the morning to mark our spot. Since I have a key to the building, we have use of the bathroom, fridge to keep our sodas cold, etc. It's great!

Hey, Beans, wanna come to Ohio and take the pics for my BIL's wedding? :teeth: We're looking for a good photographer. ;)

Saturday morning I am getting up early and walking Black River Park (7 miles) with my SIL. Then coming home and showering and changing and going to MIL's for a Creative Memories party. After that I am going to pick up my shoes for BIL's wedding, and that night we are going to the Drive-In to see X2.

Sunday, church, and family pictures at 3:00. :)

Every day of the week is always crazy for me.

This weekend:

9:30 am - 12:15 pm DD has fiddlesticks (Childrens symphony)
1:00 pm - 3:00 pm DD hads a birthday party at Build a bear
6:00 pm church

want to go to opening day at six Flags, but can't see how to fit it in since it is 2 hours away. We have went every year for five years.

Sun 12:30 - 3:00 DD is in a mini marathon (PGH Marathon Day)
3:30 - 6:00 Dinner with FIL

I also have work to do. I have about a 30 page paper to write and have to find time to interview two people for the paper.

I need to find the time to walk my 2 1/2 miles.

Nothing unusually. Typical day for me

Full weekend here. Tonight we are having a get together at my house for some friends in honor of DH's birthday. Tomorrow we have a Birthday BBQ for a friend, Sunday is church and then a community BBQ. Many temptations!!! But I know I can do it!!

Have a great weekend everyone.

Busy,Busy,Busy!!! DS's first soccer game of the Spring is at 10 tommorrow. Then, we are building a sandbox, doing more yardwork, spraying our foundation for ants, and painting the outside window sills. Then rest in front of the tv to watch the Winston Cup race (I love night races).
Sunday at 10 AM service, we are officially welcomed into our church as new members (very excited about this). More planting in the garden, and sometime for laundry and groceries. I also need to finish up the Spring Cleaning. I expect to drop into bed Sunday night with my eyes closed before I even land on the pillow!!

Everyone is so busy this weekend.

Tomorow if the weather is nice we hope to drive up to the Kansas City Zoo. It will be DS's first visit and I think he will really enjoy it. On the way back we need to stop by a friend's house because her little boy is having his 1st birthday this weekend.

Sunday my DH has a game thing with his friends so DS and I will be home with just the two of us. I don't have any big plans but I am sure we will find something fun to do. I do need to get a little more planning done for DS's birthday party which will be next Saturday!

Have fun, Beanie! You are going to be very busy! What a great friend you are!

My sister is having company from out of town this week. Disney newbies (a good friend of hers and her two young children). We are going to be out and about all weekend, so I will be faced with many opportunities to choose food that's on my plan! :) I can't wait until Sunday because we are taking them to the Magic Kingdom. I've never been there with young kids before (well, young kids for an extended period of time, I've met people at the parks before for a few hours and they had their kids with them). I am really looking forward to seeing their little faces as they experience the MK and all it's MAGIC for the first time!!

Have a great weekend, everyone!!!

This will be a challenging weekend for me, and with only 3 weeks till my Florida trip, I don't want to blow it!!!
Tonight we have dinner plans...at my favorite Thai place, no doubt! I have a plan, so I just hope I stick to it....and lay off the alcohol! LOL!!
Tomorrow is my cousins wedding, and weddings are so hard.....even the veggies are soaked in butter! LOL!!! I will do my best to choose the best of what is available...and again try to lay off the alcohol...(or at least limit it!) LOL!!! Any wedding eating advice???
Sunday we plan to work in the yard, so I should be able to catch up on my points....

I did my WATP this morning and plan to do it tomorrow and rest on Sunday....just gotta remember the water!!!!

Hope everyone has a good weekend!!

we are such busy people! The festival of flowers sounds wonderful!!!! I would love to have something like that nearby! Here is Ohio we pride ourselves on having many goofy festivals year-round, but flowers...........I think most of them center of food. Go figure! Here in Marysville we have the Hot Air Balloon Festival, which is pretty cool; and Honda Homecoming with parades of Honda motorcycles! Just doesn't quite measure up!

anyhow - today is my last day on Alex WW challenge - no problem! I am taking DDs tonight to see Holes.

Sat - all day scrapbooking for National Scrapbook Day:bounce: :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :bounce:

Sun - veg out day - DH is golfing - DD and I are vegging :)

Enjoy your weekend ladies!

I'm leaving in an hour to drive to Florida.
Tomorrow I'll be near Port Canaveral.
Sunday I will board the Wonder with my family .....our first cruise! :)

Other than that, I don't have much going on. ;)
See ya in a couple weeks!

DH and I are going to a "Hoity Toity" wine tasting tonite. It is for 3 hours and has over 200 wineries for tasting and a buffet dinner. How sexy will it be to watch a bunch of people sipping wine and then spitting it out?:( :(

Then, I got us a hotel room near the tasting, so we coulod collapse in a drunken stupor:D

I made these ressies months ago before I started Atkins. I really am not into the wine but DH wanted to try this. So, I get to stand around, bored and watching all the eating and drinking. Any suggestions how to handle this or am I to have "a little whine with my cheese?"LOL

By the way, cheated on my weigh-in to motivate myself for tonite and I am a total of 14 lbs. down, I want to get my 15 clippie.

Nothing really exciting planned here. We may go gambling Saturday night with one of my husband's colleagues but other than that nothing special planned :)

How great that you are going to walk 10 miles for such a great cause, Bean. I'm really proud of you :)

I am planning to work, oh what an exciting life I have! :(
