I do.......I have big bags of chips and cheese doodles for the kids I sit for.......then I have the candy bars for the kids in the neighborhood.......then for the BIG BIG kids that I have never laid eyes on before they get the penny candy and the bubble gum.......I know I am nuts........

It's all the same candy, but the little neighborhood kids get more. Two high school kids I've never seen before, just came and got just one little snack size candy bar. The little kids, whether I know them or not get about 4 or 5 pieces of candy. I kind of just think by the time you're too cool to wear a costume and say trick or treat, you're too cool for my candy.

sort of. same candy for the kids in the neighborhood, but I do offer little bags of goldfish for the younger ones who come around.

I make up little treat bags for my neighborhood "buddies" and the rest of the kids get get one or two pieces. I must admit that I give an extra piece or two for the younger kids who are all dressed up, and only a token piece to the older kids, UNLESS they're in costume or bringing a sibling around.

Little kids get several pieces. Big kids 1 piece unless they are one of my students I sub for and then they will get more. My special babies I have special gifts for.

No everybody gets the same thing here. One year we did have boy and girl bags and bags for very little kids.

I give a few pieces each to the kids. The teenagers who dont even both to wear a costume get one piece.

Well, I normally reserve the bubble gum and suckers for kids who are older and not dressed up or not having a fun attitude! This year though I have run out of all the good stuff so everyone is getting the same stuff and I hope it lasts!

It's been raining here most of the night so whoever shows up in this mess is going to get a lot of candy. That's all I need is to have a lot of leftover candy sitting around for me to eat.

No, but the lady up the street just ADORES my son and literally FILLED his bucket. Regular sized candy bars- those spin pops (spider man)- a tootsie roll darn near as big as my arm- and several little bags with goodies in them. He was her first trick or treater and she was ecstatic to see him. We brought a plastic walmart bag because we knew Mary would fill his bucket. She's very sweet. I love nice neighbors. :goodvibes

I do not buy candy. When I do get a Trick or Treater I give out packs filled with a pencil, chips, juice box and a snack, left over from yesterdays Pumpkin Carving Party. Some years I'll get a couple of kids, other years I get none. This was the NONE year.

I live on a busy street with no sidewalks, within a 1/2 mile there are 2 large sidewalk neighborhoods. The Trick or Treater stay in these neighborhoods and avoid the main street.

I made special bags with full size candy bars and some other special treats for the neighbor kids on each side of us. Plus I had some baby food because I knew that at least one of the neighbors had a 5 month old. I ended up handing out baby food to 3 different families! :)
