My children had yearly check-ups yesterday. My Ped. said that DS#1 will be~6'1'' and DS#2 will be~6'3".

My husband is 6' but I'm 5'3". I never imagined that my boys would be taller than my husband.

How tall are your boys or girls?

How do you FEED them without going broke?

Lori:p

DH is 6'(he says) DS is 6'1" or so. While he was at home there were times that 2 gallons of milk lasted 3 days. I don't know how we did it!

My son, now 30, was 10.8 lbs when he was born and he never looked back!!! He stopped at 6'1" but he is waaay too heavy. At the age of 3 months, at his wellbaby check-up, another mother whispered to another mother.."Look at that poor ******** baby. He can'teven sit-up!!" He looked like a 9 month old!!

Dd, 10 1/2, is 5'1" already and only about 83 lbs!! Her dad is 6'4" and I'm 5'8" so it looks like she'll be a 'long drink of water'. too bad my other two kids didn't have dh as their dad...maybe they wouldn't have weight issues, like their dad does.

Goofy4tink,you have me ROFL! Im sure it wasnt funny to hear at the time, but what an idiot that mother was.

My oldest has always been in the 75%. My youngest started out in the 75%, but has fallen back to the 25th and has stayed there for the past few years. He gets the hand me downs, 4 years after his brother and theres only 3 years between them.

My boys are tall!

Oldest DS (24) is 6'6
Middle DS (17) is 6'2
Youngest DS (15) is 6'4

Feeding them is non stop!! :teeth:

My boys are DS#1 5' 7" DS#2 5'8#

I'm 5'31/2" & DH is about 5'7"

Our boys are 15 & 16

DH and I are tall - I'm 5'10", DH is 6'1". Our oldest son has always been in the 50% in height, I recall the doctor saying he would probably grow to be about 5'10". We are of Italian heritage, so he probably takes after them in that he isn't tall like DH and I. Youngest son is very tall - he is built exactly like I was at his age, very tall and lanky - he's always been in the 90% range in height and 25% in weight.

My oldest son is a HUGE eater, if I don't watch him he'll eat me out of house and home. The younger one is picky, but I'm sure that will change as he gets older. Having 7 brothers, I know once boys get to a certain age they start eating a lot!!

DS is probably going to be pretty tall himself. When we took him to the pedi for his 2 mos checkup, he was already 24 1/2 long. That's almost a quarter (if I did my math right) of MY full adult height. And he's growing like a weed!

Uh... YES.

I am a shrimp, as most people know, and my son, 11 is 2 inches taller than I am. His father is 6 feet tall but the best indicator of his height belongs to his Grandmother, she's also 6 feet tall! His father got very ill in his teens and his growth was stunted at 6 feet! Imagine how tall he would've been if he wasn't sick!

Michael also wears a size 11 1/2 shoe at 11 1/2 years of age.... .... and no, he is NOT a big eater much to most people's SHOCK. He still eats kids meals at restaurants and is following a low carb low fat no sugar diet since he is overweight. He cannot lose like most people so he has to work out A LOT and watch his intake. He has lost 30 pounds so far and is well on his way!

we were told my oldest DS would be 6ft 2in, but he only made it to 5ft 11in. He has worn a size 14 shoe since he was 16, but he never grew into his feet! His df is 6ft 4 in and I am 5ft 1 in so it looks like he is in between us. I think my middle ds will be taller than his brother, but I am not sure how much. My dd I really think will be the tall one. People comment how tall she is and she is about a head taller than the girls in her class.

My 15 y/o DS is 6'2" and weighs 200 lbs. He also wears a size 14 shoe. My oldest DD is 5'3" and weighs 110 lbs. My youngest DD is very tall for her age. She is 5 and is 45 inches tall and only 40 lbs or so. I am 5'3" and DH is 6'3".

Our oldest DS is 6'3". Yet I'm 5'4' (fairly normal) and his father is only 5'6"! No one knows where DS got the height-relatives even joke about the mailman. What was funny was when he was growing-his feet were a size 13, he was only 5'1" tall at 13 years old. Nickname-Bozo the Clown, because of the huge feet. Fortunately he doesn't live at home now (24 and on his own), but surprisingly, he was never a huge eater.

I'm 5'7" dh is 5'61/2". We have twin sons one is 5'8" maybe if he's lucky the other is 6' and still growing. My poor dd is 5'5" done growing and complains about it. On my father's side of the family everybody is tall. On my mother's side and all of dh's side they are all, well not tall. I often wonder how my shorter son feels about this. But both boys continually eat me out of house and home. And the taller son it's hard to get clothes for. He's really thin and he likes his shorts long. At his waist size they often aren't on him.

I'm 5' 9" and the shortest in my family (well, my mom is a couple inches shorter than me). My sisters, brother and father are all quite a bit taller than I am. Being tall ROCKS!!!! :teeth:

My son, now 16 y/o, weighed 11 lbs when he was born and was 23 inches long. His pediatrician told me when he was 9 months old that he would slow down on the growth. When he was two, the ped decided that he was going to be at least 6'3". He turned 16 two weeks ago and he is 6'2" and wears a size 14 shoe. He weighs 220, which is a little overweight, but I can't get him to STOP eating. He eats constantly. My DH teases and says that DS is the only reason I work...so we can feed him! LOL He is a great kid though...full of life and very funny! :teeth:

DS is 6'5".
DD is 5'10".

I'm 5'8" and DH is 6'4".

DS's finace` is 6'....so it will be interesting to see how tall their children will be.

I'm just happy that I will have someone handy to get things down from the kitchen cabinets for me.;)
