What kind do you have and have you had it for awhile? I saw one I'd kinda like to get for my dd's birthday party this month, but I don't want to get it if it'll only make 5-6 icees and then it goes on strike.
I had one of those, momof3disneyholics, but we used it so much, we stripped the handle on it. I saw a Hamilton Beach one the other day (I think that's the brand name). It was a bigger one (it looked kinda like one of the old cotton candy machines you see at fairs and stuff, but it was for icees), but I don't know if it's one that'll last as long as their Snoopy one did.
I think I saw that same one at Walmart a few weeks ago. I was looking for a small home cotton candy making machine, but couldn't find one. We have had our snoopy snow cone machine for about 4 years. We only use in the summer, so it has been pretty good to us. I buy little bathroom size cups to put the icees in and I bought a bottle of real snow cone syrup from Walmart (around 1.99). My kids have started to turn the handle themselves which makes me happy because my hand used to get so tired from making those things.
I saw a small cotton candy machine in the toy aisle, momof3disneyholics. If it's anything like the handheld one that's made by the same company, it's not worth getting. I'd love to have a good cotton candy maker. I love cotton candy.
I've bought the syrups and my kids love the blue one the best. The cherry one tastes like cough syrup. I bought the cotton candy flavored one the other day and my ds didn't like it.
We probably saw the same icee maker. This is the one I saw in Walmart the other day that I thought about getting. It may not be Hamilton Beach, I'm not sure of the brandname.:
