Lawn service that mows/trims/edges weekly & if you do, how much do you pay?

We used to have one before we bought the riding mower...I love cutting the lawn with the mower so I do it now. When we did we paid him $30 everytime he came. Honestly I ALWAYS thought he was WAY to cheap for all he did. He did weedeating, cut the grass, trimmed the hedges.....he was so nice.

No but just this week I paid a guy 30 to cut it. he left a mess of all the grass cuttings all on the walk and driveway. The lawn was so high he couldnt use a bag. My son always cuts it with the ridding mower but this week his work schedule was just to much. he does such a nice job, I am very lucky I have him.

We have a 15 year old boy from the neighborhood that has been mowing it for two years. He has his own business buys his own equipment and everything and does a wonderful job. He mows, weedeats, edges, and blows off the drive,patio and sidwalk. When he leaves you can't tell he's been there except for teh cut grass. All he charges is $25. A bargin. We feel he may go up next year but it will still be worth it. we love coming home and topping our hill and seeing a fresh mowed lawn.

OMG!!! The last guys we had, we only paid $18 per week & this new outfit we got today cost $20 per week! I thought that was high! We ask them to mow, bag & trim weekly & edge every other week. They do not touch our shrubs & we don't have hedges.
