Do you have a vacation planed

We were in WDW in February, heading to the Adirondacks for a week in July, and back to WDW in December. My DS moved to Orlando last year so we have a great excuse to go often :)

Yes, we're going to Nags Head, NC next month for a week. I'm tentatively planning for WDW in October/November, but DS is playing on a travelling soccer team, so we'll see.

College road trip in two weeks to Chicago and St Paul. My daughter thinks we can afford those schools... :rotfl2:

So far nothing planned for the rest of this year. In April we did a weekend in Hershey Pa and did the chocolate factory and went to Disney on Ice.

I have booked a 7 night cruise to Bermuda for October 2012 though.

Thinking of maybe doing colonial williamsburg this fall maybe

Yes. A week in California in June. A week in Texas in July. And a couple of trips to visit family, but I don't call those "vacations.";)

Thanks for the tips. Sounds like you had a great time!
I had no idea I was American, lol :rotfl:

Of course you didn´t know that I´m Icelandic, and therefore live in Europe and have traveled extensively throughout it.
You´re right that we really need to watch our stuff in Italy (never been there before though) and in Croatia. Although I must say that I never felt unsafe or threatened in any way when we were in Croatia a few years ago.

You are right, I did not know that you are European, but many times on holiday, we tend to let our hair down so to speak, I was just relaying what I experienced on our honeymoon. I have also been targeted in Cairo and Alexandria, and actually caught the thief with his hand in my bag. I just started screaming and he took off. Just be aware of your surrounding especially if you are partaking in the good Croatian wines!! and of course Lemoncello, is the drink of the lemon gods! we travel with our dog, so for the most part we are left alone, but some cities are well known for this type of activity, and nothing will kill a holiday faster than having your wallet stolen!

Yep our honeymoon memorial day weekend to St Joseph Michigan to visit some wineries and just chill.
Then taking the ferry across Lake Michigan to Milwaukee to head over to the Harley Davidson.

4th of July weekend we head to Cleveland to visit the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame. Labor Day will find us visiting my Dfi' best friend in Baltimore. And last but by no means least we are heading to Missouri for my Dfi's 40th school reunion in September also. So a busy summer of some long, fun weekend get aways

I went to South Carolina with two of my children in March to see one of my sons graduate from basic training. We spent a few extra days sightseeing.

In July my husband and I will fly to Arizona to see my son graduate from his AIT training. We paln on going out about 5 days before to sightsee and spend some "alone" time together ;).

We are probably going to visit my daughter who is living in Buffalo, so we will see Niagara Falls, maybe go to Toronto or some other area of Canada while we are there.

I'd love to do more this summer, but needing to send two children to camp eats up our vacation fund.

Well, sort of. We're staying at the Caribbean Beach for three nights in about three weeks. We're only an hour away, but it's nice not to have to drive home every once in a while. Also, I'm retired so it's not really a vacation, but we sometimes need a break from our busy retirement schedules.

We went to Tulum, Mexico last summer and loved it so much we're going back for a week next month! Can't wait!!!

Sounds awesome. Would love to go to Mexico sometime!

Already had our big vacation in March to Myrtle Beach. We are taking a 3 day weekend this coming weekend to Hocking Hills State Park with some friends. Figured staying local would be cheaper but the cabin still ran us $700 for 3 nights! Still cheaper than Gatlinburg, which was our original plan! I can't wait!

Yes! We have a few actually.

First up is a week we just added at BLT for July 4th week. The only frustrating part is that DH's work schedule keeps changing so he may or may not get to go with us for the entire trip. Add to that, DH's ex keeps changing the summer visitation schedule (as of yesterday she has tried to change it 5 times :headache: ) so we don't know if we will have all 5 kids with us or not and most likely won't know until right before we leave. No matter what, we will have fun because we will be at Disney!

In September is our BIG vacation this year - back to back cruises on the Dream then 3 nights on property. We changed our reservation from BLT to Kidani since that is our favorite resort.

We are going to Atlantic City for 2 nights in June. In Sept we are going to San Diego, Novemeber we will be back in AC for 2 nights, in March we will be in Florida, hopefully Port St Lucie but if not Orlando, Sept 2012 we will be in Scottsdale, Az and then March 2013 we will be in Vegas.

Next vacation is Montauk in June when the kids get out of school. Then in August we have a week at Beaches Turks and Caicos. Looking forward to them greatly! :thumbsup2

I don't at the moment but I'm always thinking about it

Love ready about your exciting plans you’re looking forward to! :thumbsup2

This fall for our big 65/75 BD’s we’re doing a 10 day Princess cruise exploring new adventures in Antigua, St. Kitts, Barbados, St Lucia and St. John’s. We're also looking forward to several long week-end getaways. :goodvibes
