Do You Have a TV Set in Every Room

Not every room. Big screen in the living room, the boys room (1 upstairs, 1 downstairs) and our bedroom. :teeth:

We have one in each of the 4 bedrooms, the sun room, large screen tv w/surround sound in the game room and the same in the bsement, and 1 in the kitchen. There all on at the same time, with hardly any one watching them, because my kids and their friends must think we work for the electric company.;)

1 in Master Bedrm
1 in Playroom
1 in Den
Working on Theater room
soon to have 1 in kitchen (funny how the evening news rolls around when it's time to cook dinner!)

We have 2 tv's. One in the living room and one in my bedroom.

Nope, one in lounge, one in kitchen, one in spare room & one in eldest DS's room

We have them in the family room, library, rec room, master bedroom, DD's bedroom, DS's bedroom, and guest room.

2

One in family room and one in the computer room. That one has no satellite connection and is only used with DVDs and videos.

We have one television in the family room & one in my parent's bedroom (at home that is...at college the TV is in the lounge). I don't know if the query had anything to do with kids or not but I can tell you from the perspective of a recent "kid" that I'm actually glad I didn't have one in my bedroom. Also (although I'd never admit it to my parents) glad we never had cable. It meant we could watch our Disney movies and our Saturday morning cartoons, but we were never on a TV schedule and found other things to do.

I don't think it's really necessary to have TVs in more than a few rooms of the house; obviously a larger family might need more sets due to interest conflicts, or having a mini-television in the kitchen might be nice for cooking- but generally I think having them in every room of the house is too much. Kids (well and everyone) have so many other entertainment options! Or maybe...I'm just resentful of my "underprivileged" childhood and I want to thwart you all! Muahahaha. Sorry, it's late.

Scully :yo-yo:

Not in every room.

One in the living room that no one ever watches, DD's room, our bedroom, my office and there are 2 in DH's office (1 for the playstation and 1 to watch tv  )

Nope, just 3 TV's. Great room, master bedroom, & office. Kids are too young for tv's in their rooms.

Same here. Don't plan on ever getting tv's for the kids rooms though. I'd rather know what they are watching. We have TIVO so that solves any tv conflict for the time being (just record the other show to watch later). I'm sure as the kids get older they'll want to watch different shows from each other, so we'll have to work out some sort of system or priority list or something.

edited to correct gross misspellings

We have an itty bitty 2 bedroom house, just the two of us. We have one in the bedroom, one in the office, one in the living room. There isn't anyplace else for one! =)

I'd LOVE to have a small one in the kitchen, it's hard to hear the news from there...

1 in great room, 1 in master bedroom.

When we move this will change to 1 in great room, 1 in guest bedroom.

Denise < --- TiVo has definitely changed my viewing habits ;)
