Do you have a Salsa Maker?

The summer is in full swing and I have my first tomato of the season. I was thinking about buying a hand operated salsa maker instead of doing all that chopping myself. I have a Cuisinart food processor and a blender, but they chop up things more on the puree side, KWIM? Do you have a salsa maker that you really like?

We've tried 2 different ones but they still puree the tomatoes too much. We use it only for the peppers and onions; the tomatoes and cilantro we still chop by hand.

I use my Vidalia Onion Chopper. I like it because then everything in the salsa is the same size.

I have the one they are always selling at the county and state fairs. The kind where you turn the handle on top. I use it all the time for chopping stuff. I've used it for tomatoes and if you don't turn too much, they won't get chopped to pieces.

We use the Magic Bullet. It makes some awesome salsa, but you really have to use it will restraint. It will make V8 juice out of salsa fixins super fast if you're not careful.

We use a Pampered Chef chopper. It works great for us. We chop the tomatoes, garlic, onion, cilantro, jalepenos put them in the bowl and stir with some balsamic vinegar - YUMMM.
