Do you have a "never again" list? Which restaurants are on it and why?

We've eaten at almost every place at WDW now and there are 3 currently on the no return list.

1. Yak n Yeti. We've eaten here twice and just don't like it. I do believe they have removed the pho from the menu, which ties for the worst dish I've ever had at WDW.

2. WCC. We just don't like the food and combined with the antics, it's too much. We've dined here twice and were miserable both times.

3. Kouzzina. Horribly slow service and the other dish that ties for the worst I've ever eaten at WDW. We have a rule that we have to have 2 bad experiences before a place goes on the "list" but this one was so bad that we have no desire to go back for a second visit.

They did take the Pho off the menu , sadly for us ( it one those you either like it or haaattte it items). They did add a yummy Kobe burger.

Chef Mickey's dinner...below average buffet, below average character interaction...Cape May breakfast was 100 times better.

And another vote for Whispering Canyon Cafe...mediorce food, but far too loud and too much commotion for the groups I have been with.

Crystal Palace breakfast buffet. We ate there before the park opened, and I was so grossed out by how dirty everything was (looked like the carpet hadn't been vacuumed from the previous day) I don't even remember what the food tasted like. Even my 6 yr old daughter was grossed out by the bathroom. Did I visit on a bad day?

Nope I hated it there too for all the above resons plus the food was good and cold by the time you go to your table, what a waste of 2 tablse sittings last Christmas

I see many people saying they got sick or had food poisoning after eating at a restaurant. While there may be times that is it food poisoning, most of the time it is a stomach bug. The park is huge, people touch everything, never knowing who touched that hand rail before you did. I wonder how often that stomach bug is not from the food. I know 2 separate people who got a stomach bug while at disney.
Ours is not a never, more of a just not right away. LeCelliar, food was ok, server was nice. Coral had a better steak. Must have been a off day.

the worst place I have ever eaten at Disney. We ended up there for lunch due to poor planning and the place was empty (during a busy time). That should have been the heads up. Everyone in our party agreed. Absolutely awful. I had a chicken sandwich with goat cheese on it that smelled even almost as bad as it tasted. It was awful. We will never be back. Even the 2 little ones with us, age 6, who are not picky, did not eat there meals.

Tony's Town Square.

Unless you are a die-hard Lady & the Tramp fan, I say skip. The food was just ok.

QS: ABC Commissary. For years we defended the Commissary against criticism, but the last time we ate there they had really homogenized the menu and the food quality was poor. Never again.

TS: Narcoossee's. Service was so bad on so many levels that there's no way we'd chance it again, considering how much it costs.

Liberty Tree Tavern because the food was inedible. The food was absolutely disgusting. It had a chemical smell. Just thinking about it makes me queasy.

LeCellier was much better pre-dining plan.

ABC Commissary--food was terrible, selection terrible
Crystal Palace--dirtiest buffet I have ever seen!

I find that ALL of the restaurants were much better pre-dining plan. Isn't that a shame?
There's such a dramatic difference from the first time (pre-dining plan) to eating somewhere after the plan is in effect....I think we see that in many of the comments on this thread. Someone will say how they ate at a place that was great (pre-plan) but then they tried it again and it was awful (post-plan).

Was it that funky almost bleachy smell? Gag me. Food should smell like the food that it is, not some odd chemical. Double gag.

hollywood and vine breakfast, won't try any other meal. we are also thrilled that Spoodles has closed. Anytime one of us gets an upset stomach we call it the Spoodles. 'nuff said.

well, CRT is "eh"- the atmosphere is amazing, though. The prime rib was wayyy to tough and fatty, and the waitress couldn't be bothered. DDad had salmon that was o.k. though-- worth trying once for the atmosphere, but not something you do more than once or twice IMO. Boma is the other restaurant. The chef was arrogant and was unwilling to help me find something to eat with my deadly nut allergy... we walked out of the place and won't go back.

Cap'n Jacks at Downtown Disney...Really bad service and really really bad food.
We had really bad service there also and when the waiter found out we were on dining plan which at that time automatically included a tip we ceased to exist. Another place we were really disappointed in was O'hana. The first time we were there we had a great experience but the last time it took almost 3 hours to eat and the service was horrible. Too expensive of a place for bad service and a three hour meal.

Yes! It really was the most awful smell. Thinking of it today, 3 years later, I can still imagine it. It's one of those smells that never leaves your consciousness.

my list would be...

WCC- the food was okay. We have been there 2 times. The first time, the food wasn't so good and the 2nd time we went, our waiter appeared to be out of sorts (writing our order on a napkin with one of those big sharpies). Not a good experience either time.

Nine Dragons- No one in the family found anything that they really enjoyed.

Flame Tree BBQ- Everyone liked the food, but the CS is surrounded by trees. What does that me? BIRDS! So they were flying around us, and they was bird poop everywhere!

Not to gross anyone out, but this thread got me thinking about the one last year with Chefs De France/Salmon.

3boymthr's experience pretty much TRUMPS any I've ever seen.

If I were them...DEF a never again!!!

hahaha, omg, I didn't even click on the link to the thread, I know EXACTLY what you are talking about!

Never again: Mama Melrose~ DD has a peanut allergy, Chef NEVER came to table, instead we got "the chef said everything SHOULD be ok" from our server. Food was awful, but I know I am an Italian food snob. I'm Italian, I'm from Jersey, Italian food out of the tri-state area is just not edible.

I can't say Never again, b/c DD is on a toy story craze, but I could def. do without pizza planet, gag! The pizza, the portion and cost was a joke.

Maybe that was part of WCC experience? They threw napkins at us hahaha
