Do you have a Nativity displayed in your home?

I don't but I wish I did. I really want a Precious Moments one. Maybe someday.

We have two. One my brother made that sits on the mantle and one I bought when I first moved out on my own 30 years ago that is on the buffet in the dining room.

I have 6 and it's still growing. I will upload pictures of them soon.

Sure-a lovely little set that we put under the tree in the playroom.
And by little I mean Fisher Price Little People. LOL

I started collecting the Fontanini pieces several years ago and I have it displayed in my living room. It's beautiful and I add to it every year.

Well... I have one but it is still in the box.... this is going to be the year of the "minimal" Christmas decorating. So far all I have up is a decorated tree and a few snowmen on the dining room table (who you can no longer see through the piles of presents waiting to be wrapped). No tree skirt, no window candles, NADA! I just can't seem to get the time this year!! When I get done on my "Dis" lunchbreak today, the kids and I will dig out the tree skirt and start tackling the wrapping... then maybe it will feel a bit more festive in here! I'll probably put the nativity on the end table in the living room, next to the tree. It is a small one, but cute... bought it from the kid's school fundraiser a few years ago. I have a small inexpensive porcelain one prior to that, but kids and cats took its toll and at least one figurine broke... so into the trash it had to go. I would LOVE to have the Willow Tree set that my SIL has. She started collecting it a few years ago and my folks and I have bought her something for it every year. It does not have lots of pieces, so she has almost all of them already. My dad built her a BEAUTIFUL stable out of raw wood pieces (with the bark still attached, rough sawn). It is far better than the little roof line type backdrop that comes with the set......................P

I have a rather large one that we put up, and sometimes use as a "Christmas tree" if we don't want to put the tree up. We also have some smaller ones that go on tables and mantles.

Yes. It's the same one my mom had up when we were kids. She didn't want it when my parents relocated to AZ, so I got it. I love it, I never see any in the stores now that are as nice as the one I have. Which is too bad, because the shepard is missing and I've never found another one that matches the rest of the set!

Sure do, bought it a few years ago. Had to glue Joseph's head back on but he looks okay. :) Merry Christmas Blondie!

Yes we actually have the remnants of 2 Nativity sets merged together (pieces have been broken thru the years). My DD7 LOVES to play with the set and often brings her Barbies, dollhouse people and Bratz to visit Baby Jesus. :goodvibes

Yes, we actually have two. One is inside displayed on the mantle and I have just finished HAND PAINTING a large one that is in our front yard. Got the set from Wal Mart and it was just a stone colored finish. So I painted it with outdoor paint and had DH build a stable for them. We put a flood light on it and hung a star above the stable. It really is pretty. Have been getting calls from the neighbors wanting to know where to find them. :goodvibes

I think it's important for my kids to have memories of putting up a nativity for Christmas each year.

I have several! Mom just gave me my newest one as an early Christmas gift. It's the Heartwood Creek set. I just love it!

Yes, it's a Little People one, so the kids are encouraged to play with it.

Goofy Girl - The bad nativity site is so funny I'm literally sitting here at work crying......OMG!!!!!!!
Jenny :rotfl2:

We are so squished in the rental house this year but I still insisted on almost all of the decorations including 2 nativity sets. One is on the bottom shelf of an end table and my son says it is like Jesus was born in an elevator!

We have a small glass one on the lamp table. I bought a new larger one a couple of years ago, and gave my "old" one to DD25 to set up at her apartment. I figured she should have it since it was the one I always set up since she was a baby. Now this newer one will go to DD11 when she has an apartment/home of her own.
