Just wondering how many people have one.

We have a beautiful nativity scene in our living room. It fits nicely on top of a bookcase we have.

I collect them. I have about 24. My mom has over 100. She doesn't display all of hers anymore.

My nativity is one of my most treasured items. My mother in law gave it to me just before she passed away. It is one of the most beautiful nativities that I have even seen!

I've started collecting them too! I don't have the room right now to display all of them though. Wish I did.

Yes, we have one on top of our entertainment center.

We haven't put it up yet, but yes, we have one. My aunt (and godmother) made a ceramic set for us for a wedding present. :)

I have 3 :sunny: The first one is the one my parents gave to DH and I for our first Christmas - we usually display this one on the fireplace mantle. The second is one my DH bought me from Sams - big white and gold figures that came in a mirrored stand. And the third is a hand carved wooden nativity that DH brought home from Africa.

We have 2 or 3 but we display just one. One is like christinadei describes. We display a Fontanini set that we've taken 10 years to assemble.

Yep...we have a ceramic one up that my step-grandma made in 1969...she really did a fabulous job painting and "embellishing" it...it's gorgeous!! I was so excited when my mom and step-dad said I could have it!!!

I don't have a full nativity scene because I want my mom's. It is a classic looking set and it was my grandmother's before it was hers. I have never found a set I like as much and therefore don't want to spend the money on it. I do have a statue that I love that was my grandmothers. It is about 10 inches long and 7 or 8 inches tall of Santa kneeling before Christ in his bed. He's holding his hat in his head and he is praying. I love this piece!

Yes. The kids call it Jesus Christ's house.

My parents gave it to us for our first Christmas. It isn't a fancy one, but has a lot of meaning for us. We display it on our sofa table.

Don't have one at home but we have one at work.

I have a "classic" Nativity set that my in-laws gave us for our first Christmas married. I also have a small one that I purchased years ago when I travelled to Spain, I have a cute one my nephew made me, and I have another one...an angel nativity...that a friend gave me.

I've also got a Fontanini set. MIL gave a full set to all of her kids and spouses last Christmas. It is beautiful and takes up most of a 3X3 coffee table with its creche and display. We had bought her a Lenox one years ago that she doesn't display because there are too many kids in her house at Christmas time now. It'll go up again, I guess when the kids get older.

Yes, we have DH's family's Nativity Set. When his Dad remarried and was moving, he gave it to us. :flower:

My Nativity scene is actually displayed all year round in my curio cabinet. It was painted by my Mom a long time ago and instead of putting it away I always have it displayed.

Yes, we have one that sits on our mantle. My mom always put ours under the tree and I'd love to put mine there, but with two dogs I know I'd spend my holidays looking for the people to put them back inside. :dog2:
