Do you have a name you call your GPS?

We call ours Wendy. She gets very annoyed when we do not listen to her. I swear she has

We have two GPS...one is a british guy voice who we have named Stanley (after Lord Stanley's Cup...we are hockey fans). The other one we have named Pepe (since it has Pepe Le Pew as its voice) although I just downloaded Darth Vader...so we'll probably rename it Vader LOL

The one in my phone its called Betty. I tried to give it a British accent but it just didn't work right with the other apps on my phone.

Usually we call her "Jane" cause that is the name on the British voice we use. My son, figured out how to program my daughter's voice into it, but that was just NOT working out and affecting our relationship... He also downloaded George Bush and a REALLY annoying Army Sergeant who yells at me all the time!! I stick with Jane!

I call mine Trixie. I don't know why, and I know it's crazy. Even crazier is that I can't stand a male voice. I feel a little creeped out by having a strange male voice traveling along with me. Completely disturbed, I know. I do swear at mine pretty frequently.

We have a Garmin and she is called Gabby Sue, no particular reason, it's just what DH started calling her. We talk back to her, make fun of her, generally anything to make our many, many road trips fun!
For instance when we plug in a destination that we know a short cut for, we still have her (yes we call our Garmin her) on, when we make a turn that she (of course) thinks is wrong, we say 'yes, we know Gabby Sue we're going the wrong way". Then we have fun seeing how long it takes 'her' to find the route we're taking instead of trying to redirect us back to what 'her' original route was.

One of our kids' friends nicknamed our Garmin "Carmelita" and the name has stuck! We call all the GPS units Carmelita now!

We, too, make fun of ours when we deviate from the route. Everyone in the car says, "re-calc-u-lating"!

What a fun thread. I guess we are boring, we just call it the gps. My Mom though named hers Sally Sue. Mom insists that Sally Sue grows increasingly annoyed every time she has to recalculate.

We call ours Irma. She's very bossy and pushie too.

The only GPS I've named is my brother's in-phone GPS... she's British and I call her either Gretchen or Gertrude. I keep forgetting, so they alternate lol. Of note, this is not what HE calls her, he calls her Miss... something... lol. We are not terribly close, but once a year we have to take an 8-hour drive together and we have more laughs at how pissed she gets when we force her to "recalcuate" than anything else. Especially the time when she told me to "turn now," so I did, and ended up on some country bumpkin highway instead of the NEXT street up she wanted me to take... she was super-pissed as I was trying to get myself straightened out. Well dang, girl, you're the one who told me the wrong turn!
