Do you have a meal/restaurant tradition for your trips?

Every visit, my daughter really enjoys the clam chowder sourdough bread bowl @ Boudin Bakery & then she feeds the ducks w/ the left over bread. If she falls asleep before feeding the ducks, we'll go over to the the Grand Californian thru their direct park access for a glass of chardonnay, relax, listen to the pianist & people watch in the lobby til she awakes & then we go back to the ducks.

some favorites:
chicken strips from Stage Door Cafe
Bread bowl soup from the Bakery at DCA...with a beer
Rancho del Zocolo, different entrees
and most of all breakfast and lunch , on different days, at River belle terrace
of course all of this food is consumed outside (we are huge alfresco diners)

Well, they don't have to be MM pancakes, and they don't need to be on the first morning there, but we always do the Riverbelle for breakfast at least one morning.

At least once, we have to have the corkscrew chicken fusili at Rocket Rods for one dinner. DH & I split the pasta and each order a salad.

Love the kids crustless PB&J with the Mickey cookie at Whitewater Snacks!

1st Day-Breakfast at Carnation
2nd Day-Breakfast at the Jazz Kitchen
Lunch 1 day- Turkey leg to share

Ours are off site but we always eat at In-N-Out burger and El Pollo Loco when were in CA.

dinner at Ralph Brennan's Jazz Kitchen in DTD.

As much as we would like to do BB as a tradition because of the ambiance, the food will have to improve a lot for us to do it.

Our kids aren't into characters anymore, or I would make a tradition of Storytellers.

We had such a good meal, and the prices were reasonable, at Wine Country Trattoria last week that I suspect it will become a tradition.
