Several years ago, we were helped by a lady in the Confectionary who was just the sweetest woman ever, and so kind to our boys. Every trip since, we have popped in to see her, bringing her small gifts. We always schedule our visit to see her in our itinerary, and if she is not in, we return multiple days until we find her. We just love being her 'regulars' and she always welcomed us with the biggest smiles and hugs.

Anyone else have one special CM that makes their visits magical? If so, is there anything you do to let them know? We fill out cards for her at town hall regularly, and as mentioned, bring small gifts from home. Anything else we may be able to do to show her how grateful we are for her kindness every visit?

Ours was operating the ferry between POR and DD in 2011. She was an older lady, maybe young grandmother age, great captain, kept an interesting and informed banter going, was kind but firm on safety with my girls and then brought them aside at the end gave them each a 'I caught you being good' coin. Just Great.

On my trip in August of 2011 there was a manager at the ASMu gift shop named Eddie, when we would go down to get drinks shortly after waking up we would also go to the giftshop to trade pins and if he was there we would always have a great conversation about pins or the parks in general. One day we were down there for almost half an hour talking to him

We love Richard at the Grand Floridian. We also have formed some deep bonds with Disney cruise cast members... we email occasionally and always request their tables if they're on our sailing (happened 2x!).

We have had lots of great CM experiences, but one that stands out was when we entered Main Street at the MK on the first day of our trip in May of 2014. It was the first trip I had taken, as an adult, with my parents. My DH and two DSs and I had just finished telling my folks about keeping our eyes peeled for pixie dust moments. We asked a photographer to take the first picture of the six of us, and we realized the photographer's name was the same as my youngest DS. He made a HUGE deal about being "name twins" with my son, and spent an extra special amount of time with us. He even took off his name tag, placed it on my son, and took my son's picture with the name tag on. We hadn't been in the park more than five minutes. Needless to say, that picture is one of my favorite Disney pics.pixiedust: In the trips since, we have always been on the lookout for my son's photographer "name twin", in hopes that we can say hi and thank him once again. We haven't found him yet, but we'll continue looking for him.

An older woman who worked at the American Adventure was my favorite. She was very slight and looked absolutely perfect in the original Colonial outfit. Sadly, I've forgotten her name! I always spoke to her when I saw her. She worked there for quite a while, 20 years or more wouldn't surprise me. I believe she retired last fall.

Don who now works in AKV Concierge IPO is always a favorite of ours. Another would be Mama T (her name was Theresa) who worked in both Swan and Dolphin Concierge Lounges. I believe she retired right when Starwood retired the lounges from both the Swan and Dolphin. She was amazing!

Birdie at POR the doorman. I sat and talked to him for a while. He is a great guy. Richard at GF is also quite famous. I also love the piano player over at Casey's Corner in MK.

Megan at Hollywood Studios! (entrance GS). She's the best. She recognizes and says hello to my sons BY NAME when we haven't been there for almost a year! And we only go a few times a year - its not like we're local and there alot. So, so nice.

Oh - and Chip at Beach Club (I think - he was visiting to help at POR's front desk last year). Young guy, very charming. Says there are only 3 Chips at WDW: Chip and Dale; Chip in Beauty and the Beast, and him. I think he does VIP tours. (If not, he should.) We're staying at BC for the first time in August; hope to see him. My son (special needs cognitively) was entranced by him, so I'd love to see him so he can say hello again.

There's a guy from Medford, Oregon which is about three to four hours from where I live. I can't remember where his position was. But, my significant other, Dan Haugen, and I were at Disney World over the MLK weekend in 2014, and we ran into him. I am a wheelchair user, and Dan has mild cerebral palsy. The cast member from Medford was a great help to both of us, and we had a great time talking about our two rival college teams while we waited for I think it was a FastPass to get into one of the attractions. He worked at the Magic Kingdom over by the PeopleMover. Dan, and I will be back at Disney world for my birthday this year. So excited.

For my mom's birthday one year, we got a VIP tour guide. His name was Pete, and he brought us on ToT 11 times...yes 11 (to break our previous record). Needless to say if any of us see him in the parks again we say hi and he still remembers us as the family who loved ToT :rotfl2:

TJ's the only one I know by name. Haven't seen him in several years but always enjoyed when I did.

DOn is so nice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My daughter insiss I had a crush on him, LOL! But I was just so happy that he was so darn nice to us!

I do have a favorite! SHe works at the Beach Club and has made me feel as though we matter as people. WE love her!

Irene at Dinosaur in Animal Kingdom - she is a Legacy CM - she had a notebook with "the dinosaurs are hungry" in 20 languages - she is amazing!

We really enjoyed Brittany in the community hall at BLT and Bobby from the 1900 Park Fare breakfast. They were both wonderful, incredibly nice, and just went above and beyond. Had several others along the way whose names I can't remember, but whose actions I will never forget. It's the fabulous CM's that make WDW what it is, IMHO.
