Do you have a favorite AKL studio savannah view room #?

I haven't stayed in Jambo house in a while, and really want to be near the lobby elevator. I know, we're not supposed to ask for a particular room number, but I do ask (we are BCV owners) anyway and usually get it. So, does anyone have certain room numbers that they love, that are near that elevator and also have a savannah view?

There is no ‘lobby’ elevator at Jambo, for savanna view rooms there are 2 banks of elevators, one on Kudu trail & one on Zebra trail, which are located at the intersection of the trail & the first offshoot 1/3 of the way down the trails. For an infrequent visitor w/ savanna view booked wanting near an elevator, I’d ask for one of the studios near the Zebra trail elevators, perhaps facing Arusha savanna, those elevators are convenient since they offer a direct ride down to the Mara (QS) & the pool as well as the lobby level.

Actually at Jambo, there are elevators in the lobby area. In the map provided above you will see room 5401 that is over the lobby, and then there is that little elevator box right near it in the open area. The lobby elevators are actually in that open area where that box is, and there are several elevators there.

At Kidani, each wing has three elevators along the wing and none are actually in the lobby. You have to walk down the wing a little on each to get to the first elevator area on each wing, and in places where there is an elevator, there is only one.

OP asked about a Jambo ‘lobby elevator’ & wanted savanna view studio villa #s near it & that’s the question I tried to help w/.
If they’d asked about elevators in the ‘lobby area,’ or the resort generally, or if they’d booked a value villa & been likely to end up on Giraffe trail, I certainly would have mentioned the elevators which are located in the hallway around the corner from the gift shop near the resort entrance & I would have probably linked my map of Jambo where I’d highlighted the elevators in red months ago in response to someone else’s query (the blue highlights the location of standard views which was relevant to my answer then .)

I wanted to thank you a million times over, for this advice! After requesting to be near the zebra trail and main lobby, I got a perfect location, overlooking Arusha Rock, and it was fantastic animal viewing and people watching lol. Seriously, that elevator to the pool was incredible and so close, we used the pool every day so it was really great. Thank you again!
