do you have a family tradition at wdw?

DD started a post card collection. This is really ironic as DH sent me a postcard when he visited WDW after his HS graduation. We weren't dating, but apparently it was on his mind. When we redecorated our family room we have alot of collages (sp) the first one we made has that post card in it.

Anyway, it's an inexpensive collection to start, so no matter what happens financially it will always be easily kept up.

We also, do the ornaments, we try to do pens from each resort we stay at too.

We collect the license plates from the parks, rides, and hotels. They are hanging in our basement. We have a huge collection now from all over, including St. Maarten, Hollywood, EuroDisney, etc. It's purty darn cool.. :cool1:

We also took a picture of our kids hanging on the car that was parked in front of the gas station right in the front of MGM every time we went. I guess we hung on it too much, because it's not there anymore!! ;)

Thanks everyone for GREAT ideas!
wdworbust- i LOVE that picture of your daughter at WL! Too precious!
I think we will def. do a Cristmas ornament and find a neat spot to take a photo on every visit!

Thank you - I just wish it didn't have the funky red-eye - here's hoping a red-eye pen will do the trick on it.

We also do Christmas ornaments!!

Every trip, DS(7), DW and I make a wish at the wishing well to the right of Cindy's castle. Also quite often we will make a wish while walking over water,
(waiting to board Monorail at the Poly, bridge over to TomLand, or fountains at many of the resorts) we get a big kick out of it and sometimes my son will ask another little child to join us.

We ate ice cream EVERY day at DL on both our trips last year. I have a feeling that is becomming our Disney family tradition. :mickeybar

Ours is heading home, we don't have but one Krystals' down here, about 20 minutes south, so on our way out we stop and pick up a bag or two of "gut bombs", if you know about Krystals or White Castle's you know what I mean (the AFTER effect).

I allways take a picture of my dd next to the Rosie's Cafe sign. Her name is Rosemary (Rosie) and she is a redhead. It's one of my favorite pictures. We all ways buy another ornament for our Christmas tree. My husband and I all ways have an iced coffee while waiting for the kids to get off of ToT. We sit just outside the gift shop, it's actually pretty tropical and relaxing.
