I love myxertones.com! My daughter showed me how to use it last weekend, and I spent an afternoon living like a teenager and customizing my phone.

My generic ringtone is the theme to the new Dr. Who.

For the people-specific tones, I have a Yoko Kanno/anime theme going on:

DS18 is the South Park "Let's Fighting Love" song
DD15 has the opening theme to Ghost in the Shell Stand Alone Complex ("Inner Universe" by Yoko Kanno. I am absurdly tickled that the lyrics to this amazing song include the line "I am calling, calling now. . ." )
DD10 has the ending theme to Oban Star Racers ("Warrateta" by Yoko Kanno)
My mom has the Yoko Kanno song "Lithium Flower" (ending theme from Ghost in the Shell Stand Alone Complex)

Who knew it would be so much fun geeking out on a phone?

Everybody else is Amy Grant's "Breath of Heaven", which I downloaded at Christmas and never got around to changing. When I do get around to it I want to figure out how to turn the chorus to Off Kilter's "Alive" into a ringtone.

ETA: My phone is apparently one of the few models not compatible with Myxer. Does anyone know of another way to take your own music, convert it to a ringtone, and send it to your phone? Myxer can get as far as sending the picture message to the phone (if I lie and say I have a different model), and then I can save the pix file as a sound file, but there's no option for saving the soundfile as a ringtone.

DS picked his and it is the super Mario theme
My dad is the them to ALL in the Family...(last month it was the theme to Cheers)
There is one mother from Karate who has attached herself to me in a slightly stalking way and her ring tone is Psycho by Puddle of Mudd....she used to be the generic tone, and I kept answering it without looking at the ID.

I think there are a few other friends who have certain ones but I can't think of them and don't feel like getting my phone right now....everyone without a personal one has Get the Party started by Pink.
