I have recently been asked to take over the care of our pool car fleet for the office. It is a total of 4 cars and I would be responsible for service and having the cars washed and detailed periodically.
Most service work is billed directly through our fleet service account but washing and detailing won't be.
My boss has asked that I get a corporate credit card to handle those expenses. I would be putting the charges on the card and then filing an expense report to cover the bill.
At past employers I would just use my own credit card and expense it and then pay my bill, but in most cases everything was just billed directly to the company.
I am just curious how having an additional credit card with more available credit would affect our (or my) credit score?
I am not really keen on the idea of having to get another credit card. My husband and I are about to close one that we don't use because we don't need it and I don't want to turn around and open another one, especially a credit card I don't plan on using much.
So any idea how much it would affect our score? I don't know what the limit would be so any help you could give with the limited information I have provided would be appreciated.
thanks,
