Do you like going to cider mills in the fall? We have big one just a few miles away and I love going there in the fall. I especially enjoy going on a weekday when it's not so busy. It's way too crowded on the weekends. We love buying pumpkin donuts, a gallon of cider, and some Honeycrisp apples when we go. The wine tasting room is fun too. And they have a nice nature trail to walk on. And a corn maze that's fun to walk through.

There is a smaller mill nearby too, and we usually go there at least once in the fall too. They have a petting zoo and I'm still a kid at heart, love going in there.

To me, fall is not "complete" without going to the cider mills.

We went apple / blueberry / raspberry picking last weekend. The orchard where we go has horse-drawn hay rides, a corn maze, flowers and gourds for sale, cider and fresh donuts. They also have a pumpkin patch where you can choose your own pumpkin, but we were not ready to do that yet.

We have been taking the kids since they were babies, and went ourselves even before they were born. It's part of our fall tradition.

We do have a cider mill near us, and the fresh cider is delicious!

We have The Apple Farm and it is my Happy Place in the fall. I spend at least part of one day each weekend through the autumn there, and take GAZILLIONS of pictures. I can't wait 'til this weekend; the trees are starting to change and my daughter has graciously allowed me to take her picture :thumbsup2

We used to drive 2 hours to get to the most wonderful place in So. Cal.

Oak Glen to Rileys farm.

Apple/Raspberry picking this time of year.
Apple crisp! YUM!

Picking pumpkins! I would take a bazillion pics! I just love this time of year.

We have since moved out of state so we need to find a new place! Hope we can find one!

Yes - we have a large one up here that my DGD loves to go to every fall.. On certain days/weekends they hold classes to show the kids how the cider is made; they have a train ride; a children's play area; an awesome bakery; an awesome ice cream shop; a great breakfast buffet on the weekends; and the area is just beautiful.. Such a peaceful setting.. Hopefully we'll be heading over there within the next two weeks or so..:goodvibes
