Do you have a burpy dog??

Our Yorkie burps and our Dachshund has bouts of continuous sneezing (the look on their faces before they sneeze is hilarious). We say excuse you when he burps and bless you when she sneezes but they've still not learned to gently cover their mouth LOL

And on the pooting front, our Yorkie scared hisself once when it came out with a squeak. He jumped forward and I just died laughing. Our Dachshund does the silent deadly ones, but then again she sleeps under the blankets and anytime that my dh has gifted us with one of his lovelies, she doesn't even move, so maybe she doesn't even smell them. Where as my Yorkie runs away from anyone who smells of poot, even himself LOL

Oh and does everyone else dogs have strange ways of doodling ? And by that I mean poop LOL, not that your dog sits in the corner drawing abstracts on a napkin LOL

Our Dachshund does about 2-3 turns in a circle before finally squatting and our Yorkie walks on his two front paw while crunched up with his back legs tucked, so he leaves a trail of poo. Strange little guys.

My golden burps all the time. She has the kind that enter her mouth, puff out her cheeks and "whoosh" out.

My favorite part? She always does it when someone is in her face loving on her. :lmao:

Another Golden burper here. You can hear it building and then he lets is fly. Just wondering, what type of food does everyone feed their Golden? We got our 1 year old from a breeder around Thanksgiving, and the food the breeder was feeding him stinks to high heaven, hence some NASTY smelling burps. I would love to switch.

That's how Chloe's are. You can hear them coming up through her neck, but then they "whoosh" out of her mouth.

I feed her Eagle Pack Holistic Chicken.

BTW, I think it's important for dogs to burp - especially large breeds. The way I look at it - if it's coming out, then it won't cause bloat.

I have a border collie cross who burps after eating. My response is usually to pet him on the head and say "Mommy proud". After all, it is pretty impressive, I'm sure he's got more reverberation that dogs twice his size!

Our dog Tazz, Pom-Chow mix, has a very interesting way of burping. He will look at you, stretch his neck way out, his mouth will open slightly..........then this huge sound comes out!! :lmao: Now when it comes to passing gas....the phrase "silent but deadly" comes to mind!! :scared1:
