Do you have a best friend?

I have a best friend who I have known since 2nd grade when we met on the monkey bars. We've made it through elementary school, high school, being college roommates, and everything the world could throw at us. I really consider her like a friendship soulmate.

Yes I do. She's 17 years younger than me but we have so much in common. I think of her many many times a day and call her several times a week just to talk about nothing. She's still living in Gulfport, MS and I'm trying to talk her into moving up here to VA. The coast is a ghost town now anyway and she's young and single. I should ETA that I also consider DSis a best friend though we are going through a rough patch right now. And of course, Dh is the very best friend I have. It's different though. I have very few friends but I consider them all to be extremely close ones.

My best friend died a year and a half ago. She died one month and one week before I gave birth to my second DS. I miss her terribly, she was only 31.

I did in High school but once I graduated for get it, I was on a different life path than my friends me= getting married, starting a family them= going to clubs and drinking. Thats not the path I wanted to take so we all drifted apart.

Yes, my Best Friend and I have been together since Kindergarten! We have been together for 32 years now!!!! Now our KIDS are best friends, they do everything together.

I have lots of good friends, but one best friend. She moved recently and we are still just as close.

I am one of the ones that does not have a BEST friend, but I have many good friends. I love them all dearly, but I really don't have one that is my best friend and we do everything together and I tell tell them everything, etc. At times, I am a little sad about it, but other times, I would much rather have many good friends than one best friend. I do consider my cat to be my best friend, though. She is the one that, no matter what, will be there for me and she will never tell anybody anything that I tell her. It feels so good to walk into the house after a long day and greet you at the door. Then she follows me around the house waiting for me to pick her up and talk to her. It sounds weird, but it is the honest truth.

I have 2 best friends. We have been friends for about 21 years, been through so much together over the years. She's just like my sister.

My other best friend is my husband. I love doing things with him, he always makes me laugh. He's the BEST!

I am so blessed to have my dearest and oldest friend I met on first grade. I also have my dearest friend that I've known for almost 13 years and who is good friends with my dearest and oldest friend. Then I have my best friend here where I live now who is my complete 'twin' in life. Our lives mirror each other so much- its crazy. I also have two other fabulous friends that each have their place in my heart for the rest of our lives.
My DH is a special best friend, but it doesn't compare to girlfriends.

I met my best friends when we were in kindergarten also!! (41 years ago!) and wish we were closer distance wise, but when we are together it's like we never were apart...........and thank goodness for email!! I picture us all as the red hat ladies in another 20 years!!!!

Knowing somebody for that long is amazing. He and I have been friends since we were 6 years old. We went all the way through school together. We studied together, we partied together...

He was the best man at my wedding. I was the best man at his. We have been together through the birth of all of our children and the bad times as well.

We now play golf together on a summer and fall league. We bring our families together often since he has girls and I have girls.

This guy is my family, and I love him dearly.
