Do you go to work at weekends?

It depends on how many hours I've worked during the week, and if I need a little extra money.....as a rule, I only work 3 days a week (5 hours a day, lol), but if I need/want to, I can work when I want to.

I never work Sundays, but work three out of four Saturdays. It doesn't put much of a dent in our social life, as my SO also works nearly every Saturday as well (only half a day though). I also like getting a weekday off to do errands that I would otherwise have to take off work to do. If I need a particular Saturday off, all I need to do is ask a couple of weeks in advance.

I work Sundays to grab some extra OT. I love it because no one is around and we usually leave early anyway. Plus they pay for our meals, so free food is always good.

I'm exempt so even if I work on weekends, I don't get overtime. However, I do go in sometimes especially when I'm overloaded with work and can't get to it during the week. I don't want to, but I have to just to catch up with the work! Bleech!

In fact, I'm going in again this weekend. YUCK!

I work almost every weekend. I train for a grocery store and weekends are when the kids can come in to work. I get 2 days off during the week instead.

Yes, I am flying constantly so I am regularly away on weekends...

However, I will be working a flight line that allows me to be home every Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and most of Sunday for the next 3 months!

I have never had such a great line!

I work a 2/2/3 schedule which means I work every other Friday, Saturday and Sunday and we work 12 hour days, it also means that I have days off during the week which is very helpful and I can tend to business that needs to be taken care of. It also means that every other week I could take off 2 days for vacation and I would actually be off 7 days! It's kinda strange but I really like it. This week I will work Friday, Sat. and Sun be off Mon and Tues work Wed. and Thurs and then be off Friday, Sat. and Sun..........Kinda strange but I know what days I am working all the way through 2006!

I actually just got done working about 2 weeks ago, but when I was working, I always worked weekends!! I waitressed and weekends are where the money is!!

I work Tuesday thru Saturday. At first I hated working Saturday, but at least I can do doctors or whatever on Mondays..

At this time of year, yes. We get very busy now. I've worked 3 or the last 4 Saturdays, and I'm going in this Saturday. I don't mind too much, I can go in whatever time I want, wear whatever I want (sweatpants in the winter, shorts in the summer) and I get paid time and a half!

Funny thing happened at work yesterday...I work Retail...I teach classes in a retail store...so every couple of weekends I work...We put out a help wanted sign...do you know someone called about the job and just wanted to work 9-5!?!
