Do you give your Dog Rawhide?

He gets it on rare occasions. He much prefers a fresh brisket bone tho. The rawhide stuff he will look at for a few days before he decides if he really wants to eat it or not.

Our dog is "gone" now, but when he was alive we used to give him rawhide UNTIL he choked on a piece..

If you give your dog rawhide you have to watch them very carefully - especially when it gets down to a smaller size..

I have never had a dog like rawhide like my dog now does. He's an 80 lb. golden. He does not like milk bone like all my other dogs have. For treats he is more of a snausage dog. As for the rawhides, he gets one knot off first then chews down to the other end. I always find knots in the yard; he never eats them unless he can get them "unknotted". I always pick him one up at the store when I need to go in the pet aisle.
