Do you get to pick which restaurant for your rotation?

Do you know if you get to pick your restaurant rotation? My family booked Remy's for the first night since it was the only date it was available and I would be super sad to miss Animator's palette. So I'm hoping it will not be the first night or would I be able to ask the front desk to switch my rotation?

You can request a rotation before your cruise. I'd suggest you ask for "not in Animator's the first night".

Or maybe just ask for one of the others on the first night. It's really easy for them to miss "Not" or "No" in requests.

You can make a request via the app ("contact us" email) or on the phone for an aspect of a particular rotation. For example you may request to have AP on the second night, or the last night. It's a request only and may not be honored, but on over 20 cruises, ours have been fulfilled. You won't be able to say, "I want x on night 1, y on night 2" and so on

It is possible to request a specific dining rotation. Not sure how many times it is requested or denied but we have been successful on a few occasions when we did contact DCL before the cruise.

Yes. When we sailed The Wish we wanted to make sure we ate at Marvel (daughter loves Marvel) and we had a Palo dinner reservation. Being that it was a 4 night cruise and 3 restaurants, one repeated. One restaurant repeated, Marvel (and that was good and bad). The one we did end up missing was Arendale. I called DCL directly and spoke with someone who really helped me out.
