Do you get into one of the parks early if you're staying at RPR or HRH??

I think I've read this both ways but we're leaving tomorrow and I'd like to know for sure. Do they have early entry for onsite hotel guests like Disney does? Thanks!

They stopped that feature but you do get access to express pass.

In general there's no early entry. However, they are having early entry from May 28 through August 30 on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday to USF for Revenge of the Mummy only, but I'm not sure what the criteria is for early entry (the website says you have to be staying on a Universal Vacation of at least three days, but I'd bet an onsite stay might work too.).

That being said, since you get Express access with your room key there's really no need for early entry like Disney offers. I'll take Express access (at Universal) over early entry (at Disney) any time ...

I was in line Saturday and a guy came to the turnstile and asked about early entry for hotel guests and the admissions attendant said "No, unless you buy it in a special package."
The gates opened at 8:30 anyway and you have all day express so it really isn't necessary.

I believe the hours for my vacation say it will open at 9:00. Does it usually open 30 minutes early then? If it does, can you go on every ride at that time or just some?
