Do you get a table quickly with ADR?

Of our 6 TS ADRs it ranged from being seated immediately (Boma) to 1/2 hour (H&V). Most were 5-10 minutes, with BOG (but we were about 15 minutes early adn seated about 10 minutes after our ADR time) and H&V being noticeably longer.

On our very first trip, we had ADRs for Crystal Palace. Unfortunately, the weather decided that it would rain, and rain hard, that morning. People weren't leaving the restaurant because of the rain, so we weren't seated until nearly an hour after our reserved time.

If you have a reservation somewhere guests can see the show/fireworks/etc, expect to be seated late. Especially if you have a reservation for near the show time. Guests will dawdle over the meal to be able to watch the show from the restaurant.

I think our longest wait was at Mama Melrose, about 30 minutes. The rest were 10-15 maybe?

What are wait times for BOG breakfast like? We've got a 9:05 adr. We've also got breakfast scheduled at Akershus, H&V, and Crystal Palace, but those are 8:10-8:20, so I'm guessing any wait would be minimal.

There could be a slight wait at Akershus since you get your photo taken with Belle before being seated. (Same holds true with CRT and Cinderella.)

Thanks for all the replies. We nowhere near ADR window yet, but my sons have special needs, they are on a regular meal schedule and it helps them. I read on a facebook thread today about people waiting an hour even with ADR, and June is the time of year we will be traveling. That helps to know that character meals will have longer waits, I'll have to be careful with planning those.

If your regular meals times are at peak times, I'd suggest bumping the time up by 15-20 minutes to counter the wait time.

Does there appear to be a lesser of a wait for those with smaller parties? We are a party of 2, so not sure if that helps with wait times or if it may be comparable with fewer seating available for 2?

not a lesser wait but it will be easier to make reservations 180 days out,

Not necessarily. I've waited 30 minutes past my ADR time at The Rose and Crown as a party of 2. Twice.
