do you get a meal on European fights?

It's so long since we have flown to Europe (other than budget airline) that I can't remember whether you have a meal on board or not.

My Mum's flying to Italy on Thursday (10:30 am) and wonders whether they'll be fed on their Alitalia flight.
 
Well we flew KLM to Amsterdam last year and considering it was only a 50 minute flight we did.

We got 2 complimentry drinks (alcohol included)
Smoked salmon or chicken roll (which was amazing)
Savoury pie thing, I had veg Nic had beef.
Individual apple pie.

We also had a soft drink with the meal.

It was the same on the way back.

It sounds as though Mum's likely to be fed but, knowing her she'll still take her sandwiches and biscuits 'just in case'! :rolleyes:
