Perhaps there is a bit of truth to that...
I started a low carb lifestyle 2 years ago. The only times I was off it for our July Disney trip and last Christmas... other than that, I've been doing great.
I anticipate being off for our trip next week. Today I ate bread... with a good slab of butter... I literally haven't eaten bread since my last DTD Earl of Sandwich stop in July... what's up with that?
And not even just the type of food matters! I'm eating more! We had already eaten dinner... even had a little lc ice cream for dessert. Then we're sitting down watching Friends when they're at the buffet in Vegas... Joey starts scooping mounds of scrambled eggs on his plate. I say, "I could go for some of those now!"
Hubby replies, "So it's not just me who's still hungry!" He gets up, goes to the kitchen, and makes a batch of scrambled eggs... just like that. And I must have had 2-3 eggs in my bowl... no problem finishing them either!
And I am still craving a big kaiser roll with butter right now... and no, I'm not pregnant!
I have to get to bed and stop thinking about food!
