A conversation between a few friends and me sparked some interesting questions. I thought I would ask here, too to get a different perspective.
Just so you know where the questions were coming from, it was a discussion about economy, Disney as a whole and service industries.
These questions ARE NOT to start a tipping debate, ask if it is okay to tip or not tip or anything of the sort. It is just to ask your perspective on the two questions above.
- When you are on the dining plan and the service is sub-par or just not very good, do you feel obligated to tip the recommended 18%?
- If you don't feel obligated or did not feel the service was worth an 18% tip, do you feel bad for leaving less than 15%?

I get that.... but not all will.
