Do you ever use on-line travel agencies?

HI everyone-
I'm planning a trip, not to Disney (gasp!), but to the Dominican Republic. I've gotten quotes from our normal travel agent and I recently got a quote from an on-line travel agency for $350 less. Obviously I'd like to save money, yet I'm a little worried booking with an "unknown agent". Has anyone ever done this? Good or bad experiences? I'd love to hear from anyone!

I've never used an on-line agency, but why not call your TA and ask if she will meet or beat the price. You will need to tell her exactly where you found it. It may not include things that her package does (insurance or other items). Give her the info and see what she comes up with!
