Do you ever see the same server?

We get the same server at Trails End every year! I think his name might be Bill, but I'm not 100% sure. Over the span of the last 3 years we've seen him there every time and he's really nice!

A couple of waiters at the San Angel Inn have been there for years, they waited on us several times, I just do not know their names anymore... :sunny:

We had the same server at Rose & Crown two years in a row. I can't remember his name, but I can picture his face. I liked him a lot, very nice. We haven't been back to R&C for a few years though, so I don't know if he is still there.

We had Tim wait on us at Prime Time 50's Cafe a few years ago. We had so much fun with him so we sent him our picture for his photo album after we returned home. On our next trip, we had this really grumpy waitress (no, it was definitely NOT part of her character - she was truly a grumpy woman) who was no fun at all, and she even knew it was DS's birthday. Tim happened to walk by our table, so we stopped him and talked to him for a minute. We told him we sent him our picture so he showed us his album and sure enough we were in it! I wish we had requested him, and will do so the next time we head down. I will run out of the restaurant if the grumpy waitress shows up at our table!

Kevin and Doree (sp?) at Mama Melrose have both waited on us many times. It feels almost like seeing family when we dine there. :sunny:

You beat me to it.

Ron, Shelly, Michelle at Jiko, but "The Ron" is no longer there. There's another Ron there now.

Neil at Donald's, before he was there he was at Mama's.

Over at Universal there is a lady named Mercedes who works at the boulagerie pastry shop who not only remembers us, but also remembers what we always order (without having to tell her) right down to the medium diet cokes and remembers that we get an annual pass discount too!

we always request higgins at wcc breakfast. and at the plaza restaurant there are 2 fine waitpeople there. unfortuantely i do not know their names. one is a black lady who has been there a long time and the other is a gentleman; he too has been there a long time. all of the mentioned are wonderful. :earboy2:

We have been served by both Bob and Donnell at Trails End for several years now, and they remember us whenever we come in. Also, we would often have Desmond as our server at Olivia's,though we have not seen him the last time or two we have dined there.

We had a fantastic chef at Mitsukoshi's Tepanyaki. He was a lot of fun and had us roaring with laughter. The kids loved him and spoke of him when ever we visited similar Japanese restauraunts.

DH remebered his name and actually requested him this past April. I think we may have freaked him out a little. Perhaps he thought we were stalkers  because the show was not that great this time. :confused3

In June we ate at MT again and this time since we were only there like 60 days before, we did not request him. (-didn't want to freak him out again)The chef we had was no fun at all. I spotted our guy working another table across the way and I could not help but hear :listen: that their table was like this :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:  :rotfl: :rotfl2: : ! Our guy was sure on that night and I regretted not requesting him. Next time.

I'll make a polite inquiry when we do JIko again and see what happened to "the Ron".

Same when we do V&A again--I'll try and see what happened to Pete.

We eat at the Yachtsman Steakhouse on every trip and always see Zack. We waited on us for the first time sevreal years ago. They were not busy that night.. we were his only table .. so we chatted alot. Even though we only see him once a year or so, he always remembers us. If he is not our waiter when we go in, he still stops to check on us several times.

Oscar has been at the Yachtsman for many years. He hasn't waited on us in awhile, but we often see his smiling face.

The same older man has been a host at Spoodles for many years. There is also a lady there who waits on us often. I do not know their names.

Thanks, Uncleromulus. I'll be watching for anything you discover.

CoolDisneyCat, we've had Oscar too although I don't think he would remember us.

We always have Bradlee at the Flying Fish and have been exchanging Christmas cards with him for years. When he's not around Michael sometimes takes care of us. The old general manager of The Flying Fish, he left a few years ago for a better job at Disney actually had Christmas dinner at our house this past year!

For years we had Oscar at the Yachtsman Steakhouse and were invited more than once for a meal at his house though we never could coordinate our efforts.

I find that there are some of the greatest CM's year after year at Disney and really do enjoy bumping into them on our various trips up.

CindyBella - We have ressies at Teppanyaki for October. Would you mind sharing the server's name?

We have had the same server at the CG for the past eight years. He even gave us his home # several years ago when we mentioned we had trouble getting reservations. Thats what I call magic. :earsboy:

We have seen the same waiter at Holly & Vine 3 years in a row. He looks like "uncle bob" so we recognized him.

And the same hostess 2 years at Mamma Melrose

We've had Darnell (Donell?) the last 3 times at Trail's End. He said he remembered us, but I don't think he really did (DH asked him if he did). He is really nice and was great with my niece. We hope he is there next month when we go. (DID I really say "NEXT MONTH"...LOL!)

Jane at Beaches and Cream IS WDW to us. Our very first trip in 2002 started with checkin at AK, a bus ride to MGM, a magical boat ride over to Beaches and Cream (I did my homework before we went!) for our first WDW meal. Jane was our server, and she's been a stable fixture for every visit since. Her kind, effecient, quiet, and pleasant demeanor makes our burger and sundae fix all the more special! I can't wait to say hello in November. In fact, she's part of our "home" now that we call Beach Club Villas our DVC home!
