Do you ever miss the little things?

I miss having a non-character lunch at the castle and the original COP music.

I miss the fat Winnie-the-Pooh character with the honey pot on his head.

I miss "If you had wings"

I miss "Now is the time...now is the best time..now is the best time of your life"

I miss the Main Street Electrical Parade

I miss the big beautiful trees in front of the castle (even if they did block some fireworks).

I miss (and this will date me!) the novelty ice cream "trucks" being refridgerated and not dry iced so that you could actually eat your ice cream before it melted or without breaking a tooth!
I missed a particular candy, and I don't know the name, but it was a jujubee type candy with little candy balls on the outside. I used to get that and grape licorice all the time. I've outgrown the grape licorice thing, but couldn't find the other candy anywhere last time I was at DL or WDW.
I miss the old Horizons (though that's not a little thing).
I miss fountain drinks being served at the carts.

Just little changes made in the parks or the resorts. For me, and this might just be me, I miss the powdery soap that used to be in the parks. It was white and it smelled really nice, and it also felt pretty cool. I think they moved on to foam now :guilty: , but I enjoyed it while it lasted. Does anyone else miss something that might seem small or insignificant but was sort of special to you? Something that let you know know you were at WDW but was changed? I can't be the only one.... ;)

Me too!! Your not the only one. :wave2: I was so dissapointed when I realized that it had been replaced. :confused3

I also miss Mr. Toad (although he has a home at Disneyland).

The thing I especially miss are the sweet potato rolls at Boatwrights at POR - formerly Dixie Landings. We stayed there in 1996 for our honeymoon and dined at Boatwrights several nights since the food was delicious. In 2002, we went over to have dinner one night and they no longer offered those rolls :sad2: .

I miss the side street on Main Street on the Emporium side...... There was a flower cart with a bench that we would take pictures at every visit. We have one of those pictures in a collection hanging in our living room and it makes me sad everytime I look at it.

Tapestry of Nations parade.
Main Street Electrical Parade.
the Mousekateer show in front of the castle..... I know there are lots of fans of Cinderellabration and the show that was just before that with the villians...
But I reallly miss the Mousekateer singers from like 9 - 10 years ago.

I miss...
Handwiches (the chicken bbq was my fave)...
Diamond Horseshoe Jamboree...
the show in the Oddysey @ Epcot with the Characters dressed in their silver lame space suits...
the penny arcade on Main Street...
the corny shows they used to have in Tommorowland with all the characters...
the "Now is the time..." version of the CoP...

so much more...
