Yes, I get that a lot here too. Mostly men and I'm old enough to be one of their daughters so they act like I can't comprehend sentences or anything that might require thought. Some of them speak very slowly to me. But, it doesn't bother me too much. Just sit in my little cube, do my work, and collect a paycheck...and maybe get their job someday .

luv, I know you were not laughing and still don't think it's funny, but I had to over what you said to her. Yes, I'm sure that you feel bad for saying that, but she started it and brought weight into it. It's not as if you are the one that spoke up first. She's the one that should be ashamed!

I am overweight (pooh size and then some) so I am sensitive but that witch deserved it when she called you a nasty name. She's the one that brought weight into it, not you. Please don't feel badly. I am very non-confrontational (believe it or not) but sometimes you just have to stick up for yourself.

luvmydogs, that woman deserved every bit of what you gave her, and then some.

What a coward!!! Going off on the poor Wal-Mart check-out girl, after she was the one who was totally rude and inappropriate. It's good what you said...it shut her up and made her realize that she's not as big and bad as she thought. As far as the weight thing...hey, she brought it up first. I always remember the saying "You can tell a lot by a person by the way they treat the help". GUess what we can all tell about that person?
