We have a rule that we don't, and today I found out why!

Underneath DS's seat was an old tippy cup with a little bit of milk in the bottom. EWWWWWWW. I wasn't even going to try to bleach that one. It was even nastier than the dehydrated french fry I found alongside it.

Just makes me firmer on my stance of No Food in the Car.

We do.

:o

I know. Isn't that awful?

I never thought we would and I'd rather NOT, but sometimes it's a must.

yep.... when you have two boys ages 13 and 9 and each have 4-5 activities each..... my Dw calls our minivan the SAV = Studio Apartment Vehicle

I can't imagine going anywhere with DD (4) and not allowing her to eat in the car! That being said we do take her seat out of both cars every few weeks and clean it out and the car. She's just one of these kids with a very high metabolism and needs to eat quite frequently. I don't leave the house with her without a bag of snacks.

We do. We spend so much time in the car, that we would all strave if we didn't eat in the car.

I loved the "SAV", frequently DH says that we don't need a house, we just need a motor home :smooth:

Absolutely not!! We even drove to Florida with minimal eating in the car. Only one snack in the afternoon on the first day (we got out of the car for all other meals), and I was CRINGING about all the crumbs. When we got to WDW, I whipped out my car vac and cleaned it out!!!! I wouldn't let the kids have anything but water to drink (they like it so I'm not a ogre) so there wouldn't be any spills that could stain.

Not in my car...unless its on our 24 hour drive to WDW. Then I suck it up and the kids eat their treats.;)

I eat in the car, but really only McD's burgers. They have just enough cheese and condiments that nothing drips out. WARNING: TACOS DO NOT WORK IF YOU'RE DRIVING:o

We haven't in the new car but we did all the time in the minivan.

Not normally, but in 4 days we will be doing ALOT of eating in the car. We are driving to Disney, staying 9 days then driving to TN, staying 3 days and then back to NJ! WHEW!!!

Wishing everyone a "magical" day!

yes, I love the phrase SVA, I really do treat my car like a mini apartment. I spend more time in my car than anyplace during the day, and have about anything that you need! DH couldn't believe it the other day, I was going to share an ice cream sundae with my dd and he said how are you going to pull that one off. It was easy, I just whipped out plastic spoons, and cups and split the sundae and had wipe naps to clean-up with.

Yes, we do eat in the car. I on occassion have found a bottle or sippie cup with milk in them. I don't think twice about it. I just throw them right away. :p

We eat in the car, but only when DH is not with us!!
