Do you eat certain foods you hate just because they are "healthy"?

I don't have a specific food, but I am eating more raw veggies as they are supposed to be healthier for you. I force myself to eat a big salad with a huge variety of stuff in it... all raw.
 
salad and variety of veggies. I don't love but eat cauliflower and broccoli. It is more what I don't eat- fried foods, white potatoes, white bread, etc.
 
I try to eat a healthly salad at lunch at least 3 days per week and I have no problem eating a good salad at dinner about 5 times per week. Lettuce, field greens, baby spinach, baby carrots, radishes, mushrooms, broccoli, and tomatoes. I could eat these items as a snack as well, as long as they are raw, not cooked. I don't care for squishy anything.
 
I honestly don't "like" anything healthy!

I would choose all junk food if I could.

Every time I eat fruits or veggies I feel like I'm forcing myself.

I wonder how much of it is taste, and how much of it is psychological.
 

I agree with luv2nascar... what we DON'T eat anymore is probably more important and was definitely a tougher battle (at least at first) than what we do eat.

Broccoli is a tough one for me though - not only do I not care for the taste, but I really hate the way it smells my house up.

In the past year or so, I have been eating more veggies simply because they make me feel better. I feel like crap when I eat junk food, and it's become intolerable as I get older. I've always preferred raw veggies (vs. cooked), so it makes me happy to eat them. Perhaps your tastes will change as well, and you will come to crave veggies?
 
Nah, there's enough healthy things that I like that I don't have to eat things I hate.
